I make up funny songs for my kids constantly. This song from Peppa Pig has always been stuck in my head. ā1, 2, 3, 4, 5, once I caught a fish aliveāā¦ Is this ditty appropriate? One, two, three, four, five,.. once I caught Venezuelaās dictator alive. Six, seven, eight, nine, ten, then I killed the ayatollah, and then againā¦. Why did you kill him so? First, Americans donāt hate Russians, regular people are just regular people and that is the vast majority of a population. Second, yay for the Russian government so they look like they give a shit?!? Iran is now a lost cause for them but I expect the Kremlin to have to keep up appearances.

@Daniel Dom it is a typical reply because I donāt think most citizens of other countries understand regular Americans donāt think about other countries at all. For most Americans a country is a location on a map. ETA: Iām not saying that to be mean, Iām saying it with honesty. We have enough stuff going on in our own country. What is going on in other countries isnāt seen as a high priority.

Air condition
The Air situation in Iran is drastic. The sky can't be seen and it's filled with smog. Oh, forgot to mention this has been going on for years. Both of these photos are from last year. In 2025, 7 Iranian deaths per hour were linked to air pollution totalling approximately 59000 deaths. In 2024, 35540 Iranian deaths were linked to air pollution. In 2023, 30,000 Iranian deaths were linked to air pollution.

I donāt get what is causing the smog. Power plants should have scrubbers on them that eliminate most air contamination. Cars have catalytic converters. Iām not doubting the smog is there. Iām curious why itās there. Where is the smog coming from?

@Red Logan thank you. I have a knowledge on the power infrastructure in the U.S. and I couldnāt fathom how they burn waste products of petroleum production. Itās hard enough to burn dirty coal without a real environmental impact. I couldnāt imagine in any world why Iran, an oil rich country is burning contaminate concentrated sludge for power. Thank you for the background. I could not fathom what was going on.

Hey everybody, Iāve been watching the live streams since the conflict began earlier this year. Yesterday the Ozzymanreviews channel with 6.22 million subscribers posted a video debunking the Minab school bombing propaganda by analyzing the metadata of photographs uploaded to APnews and Getty images then circulated globally by regime propagandists around the funerals and bombing site.
