Completed onboarding and Awakening Assessment
And watched the related videos, etc. Stopped myself several times from starting, then leaving my desk, and brought myself back. All today. No, I'll finish it up tomorrow nonsense.

Did the next Neurographics algorithm today needed to complete my certification class...that I've been procrastinating on for over year.
On Writing "I was freezing too much on stuff others found easy."
Just finished the first section of my ADHD Snapshot and realized something I never connected: my "freezing" doesn't happen when things get hard, it happens when things start to matter to me. The struggle lives exactly where my desire lives. Still processing that one. The "Getting out of the Maze" can be tricky for me. I know how to regulate myself (breathe and other stuff) but.... how to give structure to chaos when you are "in it" still eludes me. I experience this mostly with Writing (or putting something together from scratch) as well as when Editing, I usually don't know how to edit myself out of rambling or what I consider messy/unclear "garbage" Anyone had experienced this and successfully overcomed it? Two guiding lights for me so far have been "Speak/Write with Frameworks" and "Regulate before/during/after" but that's about it. When I'm in Chaos Mode / Don't know how to continue I sometimes feel like I have a learning disability.

@Joeh Bernard It's easy to think that some things come easy for others. I've made that same assumptions about some others who have accomplished things I wish I could say I've been able to do. But may I share something with you as a writer who's had some success over the years (especially writing under my former name Kathy Henderson)? Writing isn't easy for me, but it IS something I enjoy practicing, like a pianist or accomplished figure skater. It's often hard to image the struggles and hours of practice that went into a finished performance. I'm confident you'll find your writing "thaw" methods. It often takes me 20-30 tries to come up with a good headline or flesh out that first paragraph. But I've come to realize those tries weren't wasted nor evidence that writing wasn't as easy for me as others. All those tries were part of my mind figuring out what it was I was actually trying to say. Inevitably, what started as my introductory paragraph ended up being my conclusion because I finally understood the whole. BTW, while I've written a teeny amount of fiction, I prefer nonfiction. Like to read poetry, but like the maid who doesn't do windows, I'm a writer who doesn't do poetry. A quirk I happily embrace.
Hi. I'm Kat from Michigan
Happy to feeling seen and excited to move from always putting everyone else's needs and deeds first to honoring my own self, ambitions, and projects and giving them the attention they...and I deserve. Also looking forward to learning about and from others here.

@Linda Trup Maybe everyone here is guilty of that but I've let too many others who are not dictate my life and skew my beliefs over my lifetime.

@Jamie Ryon Odd how it can feel rewarding and exhausting and unappreciated all at the same time. Do you feel that way, too, sometimes.
REPLAY IS UP, DAY 1 WAS 🔥
MAKE SURE TO READ THIS! I started with asking a question: how familiar is this cycle? New thing, two weeks of hype, one missed day, shame, quit. Almost every answer was a 10. If that's you, Day 1 is the most important 27 minutes of your week (and probably more then that ;) By the end you'll know why nothing you tried has ever stuck. Not the apps, not the planners, not the courses. And why that was never a discipline problem, and never a you problem. You'll also meet the model behind this whole week: the gap between your current self and the future self you stopped daring to imagine. ▶️ Watch the replay here. Missed the live session? Good, read this twice: This is exactly the moment the old pattern whispers "I'm already behind." Missing a session is human. Disappearing is the pattern. That pattern is the thing we're breaking this week, so press play tonight. And tomorrow it gets uncomfortable. Day 2 is called Your Invisible Cage: masking, people pleasing, overachieving, and who you actually are underneath. For a lot of people this is the day things start to shift. It builds directly on Day 1, so watch the replay before then. We're live again tomorrow at 18:00 CEST · 17:00 UK · 12:00pm ET · 9:00am PT · 02:00 next day AEST. 👇 Comment REPLAY to commit and let us know you will watch it. If you finished day 1, let us know your biggest insights. With love, 💛 Jim

Biggest takeaway from Onboarding -- I'm ready to break the cycle of being the person everyone else needed or expected and honoring myself and my dreams and projects as just as worthy and important. @win
