✨️You Are Worthy ✨️ Book Club Option...
You know what we need to tell ourselves more...I Am Worthy! Have you read the book, Worthy: How To Believe You Are Enough and Transform Your Life? This author, Jamie Kern Lima, overcame all odds in the business world because she was motivated by her passion to help others see the beauty in themselves. She is now a motivational speaker, author, and friends with Oprah 😁 She explains her journey in a very relatable way and speaks a lot about the obstacles she overcame becaue she refused to let the word, "no" stop her from obtaining her goals I'm pressing play on this audio book I started a while back but didn't quiet finish, because...well...my life is not my own at times. Like all of us, our businessss are our passion. It can be easy to love, eat, and breathe our business because it is our passion. We want to make it perfect and hemp as many clients as we can. It becomes personal, sometimes too much so that we let our feelings rest on how well our businesses is doing. This can make us scared to take the leap because we think... 🚫What if my investors say "no"? 🚫What if I make a mistake? 🚫What if I can't reach the clients I want? 🚫What if it's too hard to branch out on my own? These thoughts are real and even this author had them while her business was close to bankruptcy! But if she had listened to those negative thoughts, those opportunities for success would have never come! I think I picked it up again because I needed to hear that I am worthy again and this book did just that! It reminded me that... 💕I am capable 💕I am determined 💕I am enough ❤️JUST LIKE YOU! ❤️ So if you're in the "What If" mode of your business, believe me, you're not alone! Let's read this together and bring our WISE Book Club back with a bang! What do you all think?

Fun Friday Activity!🎉
For all of my Equine Assisted Learning Facilitators, this one is for you 😉 For the rest of the summer, I am hosting a book club on our farm for children going into grades 2nd-4th. They will be working with our horses to help inspire them to become authors. They will be writing their own stories based on our horses as we go through all of the elements of a good story. I made this graphic as a visual reminder of the different story elements; characters, setting, problem, and solution. It is set up in a puzzle format so each week they can add to the puzzle until it is complete. The children really seemed to enjoy this graphic and look forward to adding to our puzzle each week, so I thought I would share it with you! I also attached a "Character Trait" sheet I used to introduce our horses in case you would like to do the same for your herd. I cut out the pictures and asked the children to match the pictures with the real horses. After they taped the pictures onto the correct horse's stall, I asked the children to interact with the horse however they felt comfortable and the on a Post-It note, write down one word they could use to describe them, representing the character traits. They did this for all of the horses! I'd love your feedback, so feel free to share your comments below If you were ever thinking of starting your own book club for kiddos that visit your farm, I'd be happy to help you! It is such a fun way to get families out to your farm while helping the children practice literacy concepts in an interactive way where they could show their creative side!

This such a cute and creative idea-I love it!
Starting the Week on a Good Note!
As we approach a new week, let's take some time and celebrate a new strategy with a client that went better than what you anticipated! It could be something like... 🧘‍♀️Breathwork with the horses 🍃Natual sense work 🐴Emotional observations 👭Partner work Let's hear all about it! What made it successful? What gave you the idea for the strategy? How did the strategy affect your client?

@Julie Fitzpatrick Beautiful things happen on the ground.... 💖
Monday? Nope...Tuesday!!!
That was my exact thought before starting this post. I almost typed, "Happy Monday!", but quickly realized it is Tuesday. I did not post yesterday and do you want to know why? I committed to ME yesterday. I decided around 6am yesterday, that I was going to finally sit down and work on making some progress towards being more successful in my business. And it felt great! Coincidentally, I saw a quote that Mel Robbins posted this morning as I was sitting down at my laptop again and I could not help but feel like it was a sign from....whatever! lol! YOU MUST BE YOUR FIRST PRIORITY. Your life, your ambitions, your health, your happiness.... are all important. Start acting like it. -Mel I know I have posted about self-care before, but I don't think we talk about this enough! This is imperative for us and our clients alike. To make yourself a priority, focus on self-care, set boundaries, and prioritize your own needs and goals. This involves consciously scheduling time for activities that nourish your well-being, recognizing when to say no, and fostering positive self-talk. Ultimately, making yourself a priority is about valuing your own well-being and ensuring your needs are met, which can positively impact all areas of your life. Elaboration: 1. Self-Care: - Identify your needs: Understand what makes you feel loved, appreciated, respected, and joyful, and actively seek ways to fulfill those needs. - Schedule time: Just as you would schedule a doctor's appointment, block out time for activities that support your well-being, such as exercise, hobbies, or simply relaxing. - Practice self-compassion: Be kind to yourself, acknowledge your feelings, and challenge negative self-talk. - Prioritize physical health: Ensure you're eating well, getting enough sleep, and engaging in physical activity. 2. Setting Boundaries: - Learn to say no: Decline invitations or commitments that drain your energy or go against your priorities. - Communicate your needs: Clearly express your boundaries and expectations to others. - Protect your time: Be mindful of how you spend your time and energy, and prioritize activities that align with your goals.

Totally feel this! I regulary speed right past my own boundaries so I can help people. The boundary is I do not meet for and am NOT available for sessions on Mondays and Fridays. Instead of leaving it as a maybe, I am telling people I am not available these days (instead of eh, well maybe). I still have a few clients to finish working with that have availability these days. I am no longer accepting anyone who isn't able to work around my schedule. Ya girl NEEDS to take some days off!
Intro Post: Hello everyone!
Hi! I'm brand new here and just wanted to say hello to everyone! I am a life-long horse girlie and a continual student at The School of the Horse. I am a dog trainer (based in Denver, Colorado), but use the teachings and wisdom from horses to help me be a better person and also a better dog trainer. I take a different and unique approach to dogs. It's more relationship/connection based with elements of fun, joy, play, creativity, and curiosity! Like horses, dogs are wise teachers that have so much to share with us; but only if we are willing to expand, listen, grow, and let them help and teach. I'm excited to be here and connect with all of you! I also volunteer at a horse sanctuary and haven't quite figured out how to incoporate dogs and horses together, but it's defitnitely a goal 💖

@Christina Beaubien Thank you 💖 I'm not sure yet. Since I work 1:1 with families with dogs, I thought it would maybe be cool to also work 1:1 with people and their horses. Lots of ideas. No idea on how to execute or bring to life yet.
