Mindset May - Group Challenge
Becoming aware of our thoughts is one of the most powerful ways to have a positive impact on our quality of life. Thoughts indeed create our reality. This is true when it comes to our vision of what we want for our future lives, but also in the day-to-day and moment-to-moment experiences we have. The mind is an amazing tool that helps us to navigate our lives. We have the ability to control and dictate our thoughts and determine where we’ll place our focus. But the mind also has the tendency to run on its own, replaying pasts events or projecting future ones. The effect of our mind constantly running though thoughts can range between relatively harmless to entirely destructive. Often, we just repeat the same thought over and over. Even if it isn’t overly destructive, at the very least it is distractive and inefficient. Repeatedly having the same thought serves no purpose and does not help advance us in our endeavors. In fact, it becomes a barrier to those things. It’s like having the same conversation with someone, but never reaching a resolution. In this case the someone is our own self.

Love this! I have incorporated a handful of these practices into my life. AND, I could do better with consistency and sticking to a plan. :-) I'm going to print the image and post it where I can easily see it. Thank you!
