I started the Pet Loss Matters Community because, for over 20 years, I have been running the Pet Loss Matters website. My hope for the website was always that it would become a living library of love, loss and shared experience. A place where people could read the stories of others, share their own, and realise they were not alone. I wanted anyone arriving there feeling lost, isolated or overwhelmed by grief to be able to find comfort in the thousands of stories left by those who had walked this path before them. When Pet Loss Matters began, there was no social media, no Zoom, and very few places where people could find understanding support after the loss of a beloved animal. My hope is that my Skool community becomes the live version of that same principle: a gentle place where people can meet, share their experiences, support one another, and find mutual comfort in the company of others who truly understand. Why I created Stop Starting Over Women 50+ For over 50 years, I believed I was just wired a certain way. Anxious. Stuck. Ruled by the same fears and patterns I'd had my whole life. Then everything got shaken up, and I started learning that thoughts aren't facts and identity isn't fixed. Fitness became how I tested that out in real life, not just in my head. I lost 40 pounds in my 50s, but that's not even the real story. The real story is learning I wasn't as stuck as I thought. I started this group for women who keep starting over and think that means something's wrong with them. It doesn't. You just haven't had the right moment-by-moment support yet. I am now paying for two Chrome extensions. In the past, I have recommended Skooly (and I still do! See my referral link here). There are a million and one different things that you can do with Skooly to help you run your community and the post scheduler has made my life amazingly more simple. @Joe DeFilippo is also an amazing guy with the most incredible customer support. However, I am not someone who is at the stage in my business (or my tech abilities) where I need everything that is on offer. What I did need was something with an at-hand interface that was easy to navigate as well as a CRM that I would actually use - because a tool is only as good as the person who uses it. And this is what I found in Panda (which I also highly recommend). @Claudio Campobassi has gone to incredible lengths to ensure that this program respects your data privacy and also supports your productivity. So, am I flipping? No. But I am recognizing that there are different things that I need to meet my different needs.
