🚨 The 3 Content Pillars That Actually Grow a Personal Brand
If you’re posting “consistently” but not growing… It’s not the algorithm. It’s your content mix. Every strong personal brand is built on 3 pillars. Miss one, and growth stalls. 1. Personal Content (Connection) This is where trust is built. People don’t follow brands they follow humans. Post: • Your story • Your struggles • Your routines • Your opinions • Behind-the-scenes moments 👉 This answers: “Who are you and why should I care?” If people don’t feel you, they won’t listen to you. 2. Informative Content (Authority) This is where respect is earned. Teach what you know: • Tips • Mistakes to avoid • Lessons learned • Industry insights • “If I were starting over…” posts 👉 This answers: “Do you know what you’re talking about?” Education builds credibility. Credibility builds trust. Trust builds opportunity. 3. Service-Based Content (Conversion) This is where money is made. Show: • How you help people • Who you help • What problem you solve • What working with you looks like 👉 This answers: “How can you help me?” If you never post this, people will assume: “They’re just posting for fun.” ⚖️ The Balance (this is the cheat code) You don’t need viral content. You need balanced content. A strong week looks like: • 2–3 personal posts • 2–3 informative posts • 1–2 service-based posts That’s it. Why most people stay stuck They only post: • Quotes • Reposts • Random thoughts • Or nonstop selling None of that builds a brand. 🎯 Action for this week Before you post, ask: 1. Is this personal? 2. Is this informative? 3. Is this service-based? If it doesn’t fit one fix it. Building a personal brand isn’t about posting more. It’s about posting with intention. Let’s build something real 🤝 👇 Comment “CONTENT” if you want help mapping your week.i’m

💸 The REAL Difference Between $5K Months and $10K Months (Read This)
If you’re stuck around $4–6k/month, it’s usually not your skill. It’s your systems and standards. Here’s what actually changes when barbers break into consistent $10k months ⬇️ 1️⃣ They Stop Getting Paid Like a Worker $5k barbers trade time for money. $10k barbers control the terms. That means: - Clear pricing (no “hook ups”) - Firm time slots - No over-servicing for the same price 👉 You don’t need more clients you need better structure. 2️⃣ Every Week Is Planned (Not Reactive) $5k months happen by accident. $10k months are scheduled. Top earners: - Know their weekly income target - Know how many clients it takes - Know what days MUST be full No guessing. No hoping. 3️⃣ They Protect Their Energy Burnout keeps you broke. $10k barbers: - Cut faster (without rushing) - Don’t entertain time-wasters - Stop letting clients control the chair Energy = capacity. Capacity = income. 4️⃣ They Stop Hiding You don’t need to be “famous.” But you do need to be visible. $10k barbers: - Post even when views are low - Talk about business, not just fades - Position themselves as the go-to, not the cheapest Visibility compounds. Silence doesn’t. 5️⃣ They Raise Standards Before They Raise Prices This is the part most people skip. Before charging more, they: - Improve consistency - Improve conversations - Improve the experience Price increases stick when the experience matches. ⚠️ Hard Truth: If you’re doing the same things that got you to $5k/month… they will not take you to $10k. Something has to change: - Your systems - Your mindset - Or your environment 💬 Let’s Talk: What do YOU feel is holding you back right now? 👇 Drop ONE thing in the comments: - Pricing - Consistency - Confidence - Systems - Time management I’ll respond and help you tighten it up. This is what we break down inside the community. No fluff. Just results. 🤝
The Real Reason Your Content Isn’t Working📸
Everyone says they don’t know what to post. But ideas aren’t the real issue. The real problem is starting strong… then stopping when the views don’t come fast enough. Content isn’t about creativity it’s about discipline. The barbers who win aren’t posting because they feel inspired. They’re posting because it’s part of their system. You don’t need better ideas. You need fewer excuses and more reps. Question for the group: What causes you to stop posting lack of ideas, or lack of patience?
POSTING CONTENT FOR DUMMIES!
Goal • Get new clients • Build trust • Stay top of mind • Without overthinking or posting every day Posting Frequency 3–4 posts per week That’s it. Consistency beats volume. Best days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday Optional: Saturday Time: 7–9 AM or 6–9 PM (pick one and stick to it) The 4 Content Types (Rotate These Only) 1. Proof (30%) Show that people already trust you. Post: • Fresh cut photos/videos • Before & afters • Client reactions • Fully booked schedule screenshots (blur names) Caption formula: “Another day, another clean cut. Appointments in bio.” 2. Education (30%) Teach small, useful things. Post: • Hair tips • Beard care • Why a cut grows out bad • What NOT to ask your barber for Talking head or voiceover Keep it under 30 seconds. Hook examples: • “Stop asking for this haircut.” • “This is why your fade looks bad after 3 days.” • “Barbers won’t tell you this, but…” 3. Personality (20%) Let people feel you. Post: • Barber shop conversations • POV jokes • Client moments • Your routine, grind, or lifestyle This is what turns viewers into loyal clients. Example: POV: You say “just a trim” but mean a whole new life. 4. Offer / CTA (20%) Tell people how to book. Post: • “I have 3 spots left this week” • “New clients welcome” • “Booking link in bio” Be direct. Don’t be shy. Weekly Plug-and-Play Schedule Monday – Education Short tip or opinion Wednesday – Proof Before & after / client cut Friday – Personality Funny, relatable, or behind the scenes Saturday (optional) – Offer Open spots / reminder to book What to Film in One Session (30 Minutes) Film once, post all week. • 2 haircuts (different angles) • 1 talking head tip • 1 shop moment or joke That’s a full week of content. Rules That Matter • Don’t delete posts too fast (give it 24–48 hrs) • Don’t chase trends if they don’t fit your brand • Clear lighting > fancy camera • Clean cuts > perfect editing • Talk like you talk in the shop The Mindset You’re not trying to go viral.

Controversial Topic: Booth Rent vs. Commission Which Model Actually Builds Better Barbers?
This debate has been going on for YEARS in the industry, and everybody has an opinion… but I want to hear YOURS. Barbers: - Do you feel like booth rent gives you more freedom…or does it make you lazy with no real structure? - Do you feel like commission shops take too much of your money…or does the mentorship, walk-ins, systems, and accountability justify it? - Which model helped you grow FASTER in your career and why? Shop Owners: - Are barbers more committed and dependable on commission,or do they perform better when they’re paying booth rent out of their own pocket? - Which model gives you a stronger culture and long-term retention? - If you could start over today, which model would you choose and why? 🔥 Follow-Up: The Real Question Nobody Wants to Answer… Are barbers choosing booth rent because they want freedom or because they want to avoid accountability, systems, and business growth? And… Are shop owners choosing commission because it benefits the barbers or because it keeps them “locked in” and makes the owner more money? Let’s be HONEST with this one. Drop your REAL thoughts, your experiences, your wins, your frustrations. This discussion is meant to open eyes, challenge mindsets, and help every barber understand what structure ACTUALLY builds a successful long-term career. Comment below — Booth Rent or Commission? Which one is TRULY better for the future of our industry?
