Battle of the AI Meeting Bots
This one tool/use case is quite interesting to me where 6 or so solutions have all surfaced around the same time that started being developed 1+ sometimes 2 years ago. They record (or do they?), they take notes, they structure those notes, and then many integrate with CRM so they can send the notes / action items to Redtail, Wealthbox, etc. FinMate AI became a sponsor of ProAdvisorSuite just prior to Future Proof last year - Sept '23. So I believe it was the first to market with a usable product. And @Daniel Yoo, as a former financial advisor, is working very hard to do what he does excellently. And adding in some cool stuff along the way - like talk time (monologues), sentiment analysis, summaries tailored to different meeting types, layers of AI analysis, a phone app... At the end of the day for advisors, it will come down to price, features, UI, trust... as with many things. Here are the demos Daniel has recorded (Redtail on left, Wealthbox on right) of the current features of FinMate AI. Love to hear how you all are using these tools so far!

Let the battle begin!
🔍 How to Target a Niche and Boost Your Outreach
***Using Supergrow, I pasted in the attached Youtube link, selected a template, and voilà! --- Old way: 1️⃣ Select your niche hap-hazardly. 2️⃣ Draft, edit, and send emails manually. 3️⃣ Make phone calls. 4️⃣ Figure out what to mail and when. 5️⃣ Engage with posts manually. New Way: 1️⃣ Utilize resources like Conneqtor and Apollo to identify and search for your niche efficiently (example: Financial Advisors targeting CPAs). 2️⃣ Leverage AI-driven tools like ChatGBT and Supergrow to draft compelling LinkedIn connection requests and follow-up messages. 3️⃣ Use sequencing tools to set up automatic emails, manual emails, phone calls, and LinkedIn actions. 4️⃣ Find your prospects using tools like WealthFeed (promo code "proadvisorsuite) that provide a list of prospects with detailed information including net worth, lifestyle attributes, and LinkedIn URLs. 5️⃣ Schedule and manage your outreach sequence, spreading it out over one to two months. New way > Old way In essence, leveraging AI and automated tools could potentially improve your outreach strategy, making it more efficient and effective. Have you given these tools a try? How has it impacted your outreach efforts?

Thanks @Joe Moss for the marketing strategy breakdown. My only pushback is if an Advisor can afford all these tools together - do they need to aggressively grow their business? Which product would you pick for a growth advisor to invest in but can only chose one?
How do you document Rollover analysis?
Referencing: "How to Handle the DOL’s New IRA Rollover Rule" by Bob Veres... The article discusses the U.S. Department of Labor's (DOL) new rule on IRA rollovers, which treats any advisor-recommended rollover from a 401(k) not managed by the advisor to an IRA managed by them as a prohibited transaction unless it is clearly in the client's best interest. It emphasizes the need for advisors to document that the rollover benefits the client, following fiduciary standards under ERISA. The article provides insights from various financial advisors on how they handle these regulations through detailed documentation and client communication. What advisortech have you considered to help with this?

@James Carlson thanks for the share. We’ve been trying to simplify this form and know those @fppathfinder excel at that.

@Joe Moss My list a year and a half ago was a lot shorter. Epedemic!

@Joe Moss “Co-pilot” is becoming an overused word in the space. I suspect it caught on because it provides a comfortable word picture that AI is not in total control.
AI & the Next-Gen Advisor - by Advisor360°
Came across this report today and looked mighty interesting! "A survey of 300 next-gen financial advisors that explores their perspectives on AI and its impact on the wealth management industry."
