Stop Losing Deals Before the Sales Call Even Starts
Been seeing way too many agency owners celebrate booked calls like they already made the money, when in reality a booked meeting is worth literally nothing if the prospect never shows up. That’s the part nobody talks about enough. A lot of people do all the hard work right, they get the lead, start the conversation, book the call, and then lose the deal before the sales convo even starts, not because the offer was bad, not because they got outsold, but because the prospect ghosts and the whole pipeline quietly leaks revenue. In this video I break down the 5-step system I use to reduce that. I go into why ghosting usually starts in the booking moment itself, not the day of the meeting, how to get a real calendar accept before you hang up, the same-day confirmation strategy that filters serious buyers from tire kickers, what to send 24 hours before the call so they come in with more intent, how to use an AI voice agent as a reminder that also acts like a live demo, and the follow-up message I use after a no-show that gets way more replies than the usual weak “sorry we missed each other” stuff. This is one of those videos that can make you money without getting you a single new lead, just by helping you stop losing the ones you already worked for. Especially if you’re doing outbound, running sales calls, or trying to close service deals, this matters way more than most people realize.

Introducing myself: automation software developer looking to grow my sales and marketing skills
Hello! I arrived here yesterday and am Level 2 today, and can write this post. Thank you! My background: automation software developer, with decades of industry experience. I helped Citrix and Microsoft (among others) do more with less in my career. AI brings a whole new level to automation. I do not "vibe code;" I write specs and do TDD (Test-Driven Development) so that the software I have Claude Code create is solid. Been using it for almost a year now -- basically, as soon as it arrived -- and was using Cline and Roo Code, prior to that. Now I need to learn marketing and sales, as I know I provide value; just, I need the confidence and speaking ability that I haven't yet developed. This community is wonderful. A huge thank you to @Nate Herk, for sharing so much! 😁💖
Claude Code vs Claude Chat - more questions than answers 😬
Hello community, here I go again with this topic. I am currently working with both Claude Code with skills and incredible plugins I found on GitHub to create full companies with specialized agents and the whole nine yards...but I still find it somehow overwhelming, slower and more confusing than when working with Claude Chat, which helps me go through the process in a more amicable way, and I still get the results I want and I seem to be using less tokens. So for the Claude Code experts in the room, what am I missing to take advantage of Claude Code? I'm all ears (eyes actually 👀) Thank you! Dani

@Jeanette Stein Nice! Plan Mode helped me fix something broken recently. My parents get email through my domain, on my server. A week ago I installed n8n on it, on another domain -- and, in doing so, I broke their email. Long story short, Claude Code in Plan Mode was able to help me debug and diagnose what had happened, and fix it in under an hour. Longer story: I happened to have rebooted the server at the EXACT TIME Virtualmin was updating the SSL certificate! So, the dovecot.conf file had three extra lines that weren't in an actual block, and were causing dovecot not to be able to start up. A key detail was that I also mapped my email to have Gmail read/write it, and that still worked. Gmail uses POP; Outlook (which my parents use) and Thunderbird (which I have configured, but had stopped using months ago, and which on testing, also didn't work) use IMAP. That was one of the key differences showing us (Claude Code and me) the underlying issue. So random! In general, rebooting a server doesn't break things. This was such a rare occurrence and I am so grateful for Claude Code's planning/chatting help. I agree with your assessment: I am able to code at least ten times faster than when I worked in software development. Sometimes, 100x. It is mind-blowing, and then, our minds catch up. :) I watched Nate's 10-hour video yesterday and the day before, and learned quite a bit. Claude Code is evolving fast. Good luck with your progress!
