@Vic Wheeler Thank you! I like that I didn’t play the whole time… let the other instruments have their time. Next time I would start on melody and save the harmony till second verse. ( That was my intention, but I started on a harmonic note so just went with it …lol) Tried to work on dynamics too, could you tell? I think I really need to exaggerate so it will come through on the recording.

One year at Christmas when I was a kid, my parents surprised me with a new flute. It was my first open hole flute. It was an Artley 9-0. It was a real sacrifice for my parents to buy it for me. They had been talking to my band director secretly. He advised them that I needed a better flute. The first tune I played for my parents on my new flute was O Holy Night. I was so thankful and overjoyed to receive such a gift!
