Formatting a transcript with AI
Explanation: I designed a interview framework which has very specific questions. Each question will be asked in the interview and has a specific purpose. Each question and each answer have a specific identifier like CS1:Q: (Case Study Question 1) and CS1:A:. Both together are the section CS1. I transcribe the interview with AWS Transcribe and get a pretty solid transcription in raw format. Now here is what i want: Objective: Extract and Format a case study interview into pre defined sections to create a nicely formatted transcription and reuse the sections later for repurposing in different formats. Workflow is basically just inputting the transcript with the prompt into the AI module and repeating the whole thing with each section prompt. Storing each section separately + aggregating it back into a whole format. This approach works pretty well for about 80% of the time. I would like to increase that percentage or use a different approach. ( I also tried one module for extraction and one for formatting, but if the extraction is wrong, the formatting is also, so it makes no difference) Any idea to optimize this? I use a very specific format for my prompts, which I will explain further if needed. It makes the output quite accurate even if it seems overkill sometimes. By the way, here is the prompt: Prompt: User: Input Variables: transcript = {{replace(184.json; """"; "")}}, < interviewer_first_name = {{182.interviewer_first_name}}, < interviewer_last_name = {{182.interviewer_last_name}}, < interviewer_company_name = {{182.interviewer_company_name}}, < client_first_name = {{182.client_first_name}}, < client_last_name = {{182.client_last_name}}, < client_company_name = {{182.client_company_name}} System: [identifier] = CS1B, < Is that right? What did I miss, {firstName}?, < [question] = What does your company specialize in, and who are your primary customers? Can you provide an example of a typical customer or case study and how you serve their needs?, < [after_question] = How do you differentiate yourself from competitors in your industry? What unique advantages or features set you apart? - WHAT: Extract and format specific sections of interview transcripts into a clean Q&A format based on given cues and requirements. - WHY: To create a polished and professional transcript that accurately represents the interview, making it easy to read and understand. - HOW: 1. Identify the specific section of the [transcript] that starts with the [question]. Use the [before_question] and [after_question] to analyze where the section begins and ends. 2. Do NOT include the [before_question] or [after_question]. 3. Extract the section which includes the [question] and the answer 4. Remove all filler words like uhms, ahs, and similar fillers. Correct any grammatical errors without changing the meaning. 5. Use the input variables to identify who said what and to correct potential errors in the transcript. 6. Format the questions and answers neatly, maintaining the natural flow of the conversation. 7. Don't add any information that is not provided in the transcript or in the variables. Don't add any fictional names, companies, or other information.8. A section includes only one question and answer using theidentifier. - TEMPLATE: {identifier}:Q: {interviewer_first_name} {interviewer_last_name} (Interviewer): {question} {identifier}:A: {client_first_name} {client_last_name}: {answer} - EXAMPLE: CS1B:Q: Julian Wohlers (Interviewer): What does your company specialize in, and who are your primary customers? Can you provide an example of a typical customer and how you serve their needs? CS1B:A: Jan Novak: Master Digital specializes in improving digital platforms for businesses. This includes content management, eCommerce, lead generation, and more. We primarily serve mid-sized companies in various industries like financial institutions and manufacturing companies. For example, we helped a mid-sized bank revamp their online banking system, which significantly improved their customer engagement and satisfaction.CS1B:F1:Q: Julian Wohlers (Interviewer): Can you expand on how you approach a project like that? CS1B:F1:A: Jan Novak: Well, first we conduct a thorough analysis of the client's existing digital infrastructure. Then we collaborate closely with their team to design a tailored solution that addresses their specific needs. Throughout the process, we ensure constant communication and provide ongoing support to guarantee the project's success.

@Stephen G. Pope It outputs other sections, adds mixed up content ... I mean, it needs manual review anyways, so I guess, until the model gets more accurate I cant to anything more - Putting the whole script into one prompt and trying to identify that hits always time limits and is even less accurate ... The only thing i didnt try yet is another module which checks the accuracy and if its right. Basically a Manager.
