📬 Too Many Notifications? We Feel You. 😅
Some of you have told us that your inbox is starting to look like a wellness-themed escape room. While we’d love to wave a magic wand and sort it all out for you... we can’t. Skool makes you the notification master 🧙‍♀️. But fear not—your inbox serenity is just a few taps away. 🧘‍♂️ How to Manage Notifications Like a Zen Warrior: 1. Tap your profile pic (bottom right corner on Android mobile, might be esewhere on iPhone or desktop) 2. Go to Settings → Notifications 3. Locate Email Frequency (it’s probably set to “hourly” 🫠) 4. Change it to Daily or even Never, depending on your vibe. 💡Daily Might Be Your New Best Friend: At MyLera, we’re all about easing stress, not creating it. Daily notifications let you stay in the loop without feeling like you’re living in a wellness surveillance state. 📡 So, take a moment to adjust your Skool settings and reclaim your inbox peace. Your cortisol levels will thank you. Attached is a video with some helpful screenshots of the key steps.

🌿 Perilla Leaves: The Bold Green That Breathes Life Into Every Bite
Superfood Spotlight: Perilla Leaves (Zisu) Used in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Korean cuisine, Perilla is more than a garnish—it’s a respiratory ally, anti-allergy hero, and flavor bomb rolled into one. With its minty, basil-meets-anise aroma, this leaf brings both healing and intrigue to the plate. Why It’s Super: - 🫁 Respiratory relief — Traditionally used to ease coughs, asthma, and seasonal allergies - 🌿 Anti-inflammatory & antihistamine — Contains rosmarinic acid and luteolin, which help calm immune overreactions - 🧠 Mood & memory support — Rich in omega-3s and flavonoids that nourish brain function - 🩺 Digestive aid — Stimulates appetite and soothes bloating, nausea, and indigestion 🥩 Recipe: Perilla-Wrapped Bulgogi Bites with Ginger-Soy Glaze This fusion dish blends Korean BBQ richness with Chinese herbal elegance. The Perilla leaf acts as a refreshing wrap that balances the savory-sweet depth of the beef—like lettuce wraps with a medicinal twist. Ingredients: - 8–10 fresh Perilla leaves - ½ lb thinly sliced beef (ribeye or sirloin) - 1 tbsp soy sauce - 1 tsp sesame oil - 1 tsp grated ginger - 1 tsp honey or brown sugar - 1 clove garlic, minced - Optional: chili flakes, toasted sesame seeds, or scallions Instructions: 1. Marinate beef in soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and sweetener for 15–30 minutes. 2. Sear beef slices in a hot pan until caramelized and cooked through. 3. Let cool slightly, then wrap each slice in a Perilla leaf. 4. Garnish with chili flakes or sesame seeds and serve warm—great as an appetizer or part of a wellness bento. Flavor Notes: Savory, herbal, and slightly sweet—like Korean BBQ meets botanical therapy. 🛒 Where to Find It: - Asian grocery stores (fresh Perilla often near herbs or greens) - Korean markets (look for “kkaennip” or pickled Perilla) - Online retailers or seed shops for growing your own Have you ever wrapped bulgogi in Perilla—or used these leaves in teas or remedies? What did you notice? Share your experience or your family’s favorite way to balance bold flavors with healing greens 🌿💬
