make a friend👇 (how to make biz easier, less lonely, and more fun)
my favorite part of this community... isn't the group calls or the free trainings and resources i give y'all or helping u get ur first paying clients or even helping some of u go full time in their coaching practice my favorite part is hands down THE RELATIONSHIPS and the coolest shit ever is when these online relationships go OFFLINE and u all start linking up in real lifeeeee building a biz is fun but building friendships while u build a biz is a gazillion times better less lonely, more fun, and tons easier also u never know what kinda collaborations and partnerships can form (like many have in this crew) i'm dropping some photos of people from this community that have met IRL now, my challenge to u is to drop where u live in the comments👇 then look for other comments of anyone in ur area comment on their post make friends plan a meetup just like @Shannon Sullivan , @Ruth Levesque , and @Ashley Makela did or @Kelly Quinn and @Sarah Knodell or like @Ruth Levesque and @Joy Moses did or me, @Bobbi Stalnaker , and @Sydney Rinderknecht or @Michael Taningco and @Janet Mao etc etc don't be shy... make some friendssss

just sum thots
hey y'all! hope your MDW is rockin and rollin :) I've been thinking for the past few months about how to make my 9-5 a side quest and keep prioritizing coaching as my main thing. It's been a helpful reframe and helps to bring me out of feeling overwhelmed when I think about the journey ahead. Instead of seeing it as delulu, I'm realizing this mindset makes sense bc my day job doesn't actually occupy much of my brain space. It pays my bills and keeps me humble and for that, I'm grateful. I felt this way initially at the very beginning when I enrolled in my nurse coaching course (as in, day job = side quest). And since the end of March, that reframe has been sticking with me again. I think it's also been helpful for me to just explore my creative pursuits in food styling bc I am lucky enough to collab w local friends routinely. Their friendship is such a gift! They (and all of y'all in this space) teach me to be brave. Encourage me. Call me higher. Give me a pep talk. Tell me to keep being creative and sharing my ideas. Tell me to stop bein a weenie by getting in my own gd way 😤 and also to give myself agrace. They love me well and show me the path forward and that it's not all so big bad and scary after all. not fully sure where i'm goin with these thoughts.. but curious to know if this mindset/reframe is true for anyone else? It's def helped me feel unstuck too which is cool. Everything is a lesson. Like @Micah Walker says- win or learn!!! Bless you guysssss <3

this was so presh and i gleaned heaps from it! can feel y’all’s love through it 🥲🥲
After just one month of trying to do it all… I realized I simply can’t 😅
When I started my holistic business, I did it with two intentions: 1. Offer a more comprehensive functional test because honestly, I think bloodwork often tells us very little until something catastrophic happens in someone’s health. 2. Spend REAL time with clients getting to the root cause instead of recreating the rushed 15-minute appointment experience so many of us left conventional healthcare frustrated by. During my beta phase with clients, I kind of intuitively asked @Shannon Sullivan if she wanted to partner with me. We had both spoken during the Sandbox Session and I remembered her talking about movement and fitness. Michael had also mentioned the program she was creating. After I spoke during the Sandbox, Shannon booked an HTMA discovery call with me because she was considering incorporating HTMA into her own business. As we talked more about our businesses, I learned she had just become a certified nurse coach and we immediately vibed. 💛 So I threw it out there:“Do you want to partner together?” She said yes, and we’ve been building a program ever since. What I didn’t realize was how needed partnering would feel. The missing piece in my business structure was the deeper ongoing support. I can do the testing, interpret the HTMAs, create nutrition plans, build custom supplement protocols, and help clients understand what’s happening physiologically at the cellular level… …but trying to also hold space for the emotional deep dives, behavior change, fitness accountability, nervous system support, and weekly coaching calls by myself? That is A LOT. And honestly? Both pieces matter if we truly want to get to the root. We haven’t officially launched our partnership yet, but I’m SO excited about what we’re creating because this feels as holistic as it gets. It genuinely feels like we’re closing gaps that so many of us witnessed over and over again in conventional healthcare. And maybe one of the biggest lessons for me in all of this: building a business doesn’t always mean doing everything alone.
