100 Push ups a Day
The 100 Push ups a day Challenge! This isn't about the push ups, as much as it is about saying we are committing to something and completing the task. 100 push ups a day until our next live call on Dec 9th. That's 29 days where you will do 100 push ups a day. Now, you can do 100 at a time or break them up into whatever set amount you want (example 10x10). Whoever completes the 29 day challenge will receive a REWARD!!!! If there are multiple individuals who complete the push ups and follow the RULES we will draw a random winner. RULES: 1.100 push ups a day (break them down anyway you may need to complete 100) 2.Comment to this post with the day (example Day 1) keep it on this thread 3.Post your sets it took to complete the 100 push ups (example 10x10) That's it! Let's get this done and have fun and continue to grow with each other!

What can we do?
Hey Everyone! I wanted to let you know we are working on some course work under the classroom tab, live calls, etc. Our first live call will be the evening of 11.11 Stay tuned for more. But, I want to ask, and if you would leave a comment with any suggestions, what are you looking for when coming to this community and this app? -Looking for resources? What kind? -Looking for tools for life? -Videos? -Etc? We are still building this out but wanted it to be the most valuable to you and everyone in the community now and for new comers. Comment what you think would be awesome for this group and app, and we will see what we can do! I appreciate you all and looking forward to our first live call on 11.11

I’m a student and young in this journey. I enjoy the discussions and thought provoking topics. For me at this time in my life (work and life balance) I benefit on being where my feet are at and controlling my mind set. Jerrod said it best, we are what we feed ourselves. I needed to hear that. I think for most of us any discussion topic will be relevant at that time in our lives. That’s always been my take away. We can always bridge the gap for what it is needing to be heard.
Boundaries vs limits
Hey all, Listened to a message the other day about boundaries and how they actually help improve most aspects of progress/performance. I’ve been pondering quite a bit, and have been thinking about the difference between boundaries vs limits. So, curious to hear thoughts about if these are different in your view and how we could use either to help improve.

From what I just read I think everyone agrees on boundaries and the purpose they play. I like this discussion. I like what Matt said regarding limits being helpful but also have a negative like a comfort. I believe knowing your limit allows you to grow also. It makes you think differently or take a different approach that is uncomfortable which can be a good thing. Could also allow someone else to grow that does not have that limit but you recognize the growth potential for them. (Coach side of me teaching younger athletes more athletic than I was at their age). Understanding your limits allows you to move the boundary or take a different approach with same boundaries in terms of safe guards.
Surround yourself with people on the same mission.
I had the pleasure of listening to Trent Shelton talk a few weeks ago. And one thing he shared that stuck with me was, not everyone is going to see or believe in your vision or dreams. And that’s OK! He gave the analogy of prescription eyeglasses. The prescribed glasses you are wearing were meant for you and your vision. You have a clear vision, a goal, belief, a direction you want to go. If someone else puts your prescription eyeglasses on, their view is gonna be blurry, skewed and won’t be able to see things clearly. So if you share an idea, a belief, a goal a vision with someone of and they do not have the same “prescription” as you don’t get discouraged. Find those individuals with the same prescription that can see your beliefs, goals and dreams, and can help get you there!
Surround yourself with people on the same mission.

Super relevant message for current times with work and life. I’ve been saying this same thing but in a different way. The surrounding yourself with people who share the same prescription is awesome. That’s been my focus with the “let them” message for those that don’t.
