I rarely get track athletes at my gym. This is a great question. I’m definitely interested of what works for sprinters, field, jumpers, hurdlers, mid distance and distance. I’m sure each group would have different standards. I usually test 10, 20, 40, 60 yds & a ton of agility/athletic tests because of the variety of athletes I train. 95% of them would stink up any test longer than 20 secs. LoL! Cardio is not their forte. Either way. I think consistency is the key element to any of these tests. So we can gauge the athletes progress.
