After discovering I brought home an unwanted companion on my trips this week, slept in to defeat the head cold, or at least try to cut it off at the pass. Starting my errand a bit later but I’d rather be sad than sorry. Reading Is Leverage
A large percentage of the population never picks up another book when they finish school. I want you to consider this... If you were taught how to read... You literally have access to an unlimited amount of information. Information that can sharpen your perspective. Information that can help you build skills. Information that can teach you valuable lessons. Information that can save you years of trial, error, and frustration. ...and you choose to let that opportunity go to waste? Reading is leverage. The knowledge, information, and perspective you can get from a single book can change the outcome of your entire life... IF you apply the lessons. I'm not any more intelligent than you or anybody else. I've just committed to reading 10 pages of a book every day for the past 25+ years. What would your life look like if you made the same commitment to yourself? Because I promise you this... The time you'll save... The roadblocks you'll avoid... The mindset you'll forge... ...and the skills you'll develop... Will all help you build your life into a story of greatness. It all starts with picking up a book and reading. Choosing not to is no different than being illiterate. Remember that. ~ Andy Frisella

I see this so much too and feel that there is so much more that we can all do. I used to hate reading, but now look for as many opportunities as I can to learn, grow and be more from what I learn from reading
Not Everyone Is on Your Team
Not everyone close to you is on your team. Some people will stay close so they can have a front row seat when things fall apart. They smile in your face while holding their breath, hoping you lose. Make sure these leeches suffocate. ~ Andy Frisella

Some are just scared of change and things that are different as well. We have to try and see as many people as comrades as possible
FIX YOUR INTERNAL DIALOGUE
Your suffering doesn't come from the work. Your suffering comes from your attitude about the work. “I have to work.” “I have to train.” “I have to handle this.” No. You get to. You're healthy... You're alive... You're capable... ...and you've been gifted the opportunity to show up and build a great life for yourself. Quit acting like that's a burden. It's a massive privilege. Most people don’t hate their life. They hate the bullshit stories they tell themselves about it. Focus on what you “have to do” and you’ll resent everything. Focus on what you “get to do” and everything changes. Audit your internal dialogue. Refusal to do so will ruin your life. ~ Andy Frisella

I tell everyone to do gratitude at the start of the day, before any conversations, anythong digital or technical for five mins and then at the end of the day 3-4 things that went well, make these your first and last things of everyday for three months. Promise you will see everything differently I did
The Choice Comes First
You can change your whole life today. Right now. Not someday. Not after you feel ready. Today. It’s as simple as choosing. You haven’t chosen yet. You have been floating… Hoping things materialize… You think something is wrong but it isnt… You just haven’t chosen yet. Who the hell are you? What do you want to be? You have to choose those things and you can make that choice today. Right now… …you can decide who you’re going to be and start living like that person immediately. …but you gotta start working like that person before you live the life of that person. The thing is… The life you’re living right now is not random. It’s not bad luck. It’s not the world doing something to you. It’s the result of a previous version of you. A version that didn’t decide. A version that floated. A version that coasted. A version that reacted instead of chose. A version that didn’t understand that identity is not discovered… It’s chosen. Intentionally. The consequences of that previously unaware person you were are what you’re living inside of today. Here’s the part most people miss. When you choose a new identity, the world does not instantly respond. Nothing changes overnight. Your bank account won’t magically shift. Your body won’t immediately transform. People won’t suddenly treat you differently. That lag is where most people quit. They decide. They act for a week. They don’t see results. …and they assume the decision didn’t work. It did. Reality just hasn’t caught up yet. Identity changes first. Behavior follows. Results lag. That’s the order. If you decide today who you are and then you live the way that person would live with discipline, structure, and consistency… …the world has no choice but to adjust over time. Not because you wish it. Because you force it. You don’t become that person when the results show up. The results show up because you became that person. Most people wait for a guarantee before they commit. Winners commit and let time deliver the life that comes with the identity.
