Is the collapse of the West inevitable?
There's a great video that I've linked below which talks about the rise and fall of empires. Every empire rises and every empire falls. Do you think we are witnessing the collapse of the West and is it inevitable?

An EASY way to reduce anxiety
If, like me, you suffer from a lot of anxiety, I want to give you a really simple and obvious way to reduce it. Often, I find myself putting off small tasks that contribute to my stress levels. For example, I have been riding my motorbike without road tax for months because I haven't prioritized getting it and/or I am just too lazy to go and get it. As a result, I have been anxious every time I have left the house because I don't want to get stopped by the cops and get a fine. However, if I just took an hour to pay the tax, this small anxiety-inducing element would be removed from my daily life. There are MANY small tasks like this that I put off all the time and from time to time I have to remind myself that addressing them can significantly reduce my anxiety overall. It's easy to let these small anxiety inducing annoyances pile up, but before you know it, they become a major cause of anxiety and significantly impact your daily life. It's hard to notice at first because they are all "small things" but when your brain is juggling all of these small things at one time you can feel worn out and not even realize why. No one thing is important enough to really give you anxiety so it's easy to dismiss. However, it's the compounded effect of all of them that can cause stress and really exhaust your subconscious mind. Do you have a bunch of small tasks that you're putting off? Write them down, make a plan to address them tomorrow (all in one day) and trust me you'll see how much better you'll feel.

Problem is many people have many small problems and cannot collate and file each one is number of importance and deal with individually Therefore the small problems amalgamate into one huge stress filled trap that continues to confuse and cloud the issues
" Failure " leads to success
Be prepared for " failure " in life it is a by product of success The so called " failure " is perceived as bad when in fact it is beneficial to learning that guides you along the path to success I have tried several thing's in the past with either " failure " or mediocre success but will continue to pave the path to reach the final goal I also felt that Brett's course would lay the foundations
Caring too much about what others think of you
This mindset issue can hold you back from achieving success and I've seen it cause difficulties for a lot of new digital nomads, including myself. Have you experienced this and held yourself back because of what you thought others may think?

I personally do not care what people think or say about my decisions they are mine not theirs so to them question your own not mine
Dealing with nay-sayers...
I'm excited about my move to Chiang Mai, my optimism is at a high. The same however cant easily be said about my family and friends, people I care about who would rather I didn't go. I'm hearing things like "but you will be all alone there", "that's too far away, what if something happens", "you don't speak Chinese, no one will understand you"... If there's a reason not to go, I've heard it, and as my departure date approaches, I'm hearing it more. To deal with it, I simply reiterate my reasons for going and invite them to come with me. If you have people trying to talk you out of relocating to Thailand, how do you deal with it?
