How you 'act' - trains others how to treat you!
Thought for the day... Our old behaviours – like people-pleasing or avoiding conflict from our anxious past – create a Virtual Reality Story in others' minds, trapping us in patterns where they treat us poorly because that's how we unknowingly trained them to treat us. The key lesson is clear: people treat us based on our past actions, but once we get smarter, we can change their VR story of us by behaving in bold new ways – even if we're terrified inside, we act brave outside – this gradually builds a fresh subconscious model in them of who we are, so through real actions and straight talk, we rewrite that story, making them treat us better and match the truer self we are trying to become. John xx This is a clip from video 53 in my course entitled: 'Becoming the lead actor in your game of life' - and Virtual Reality Stories are detailed in video 22 entitled: 'Using your identities wisely.'

OCD - Explained in 3 minutes, the blunt truth...
If we cut through all the crap, this is pretty true for regular OCD (Pure O is different). Sorry to be blunt, but somebody has to say it!

I think OCD tends to be in introverts and Pure O in extroverts and those with more creative imaginations, whose extroversion was (likely) suppressed in childhood.

@Antonia Herrerra-Valadez - it is horrible to have but fascinating to study and work with https://www.skool.com/the-calmness-in-mind-process-1165/classroom/efee13bb?md=f784bcff03f94548837ba774cdd936cd
Using anger and dominance wisely...
Ever notice this sneaky trap that catches so many anxious individuals off guard? At home with your family, you end up being all angry, controlling, dominant, or even passive-aggressive. But with everyone else - like colleagues, strangers, or bosses, you turn into a weak, compliant version of yourself, just silently fuming on the inside. The clever fix from my iStory ERP technique? - flip the script. Be kind, calm, and loving with the people you actually care about. And practice being calmly assertive and strong with those who don't mean as much to you. This simple switch opens up your world, helps rewrite those old childhood or anxiety narratives, and breaks the endless unconscious cycles. It's subtle, makes total sense, and packs a huge punch. (Clip from Video 50 – Part 2 in my 5-part ERP series.)
