After a decent stretch of weekly video posts on LinkedIn I missed a couple of weeks. I just wasn't feeling it and rationalized not doing it. One learning from that is--I need to develop a habit and workflow of stacking up videos for those down times so that I can maintain consistency. I've been just recording them every Friday and putting them up at the end of the day (more on that in a later post). 72 videos later, and making these videos is now so fun I can basically make them on a daily basis and edit on device. The key is to create a way of doing it for yourself that's fun. In my case my videos are shot in 15 to 20 second chunks on different locations through the day with smooth transitions between shots. Lately I've been playing with viral hooks for the fun of it. You'll be surprised how well these skills translate to paid ads once you start shooting those. Recommended apps for editing: Capcut or Filmora. Both can also auto caption for you.
