Just put up a new video on LinkedIn. My last one (which I didn't share here) was a bit long (around 3 minutes) so wanted to try to make it shorter and this one clocks in at just under 2 minutes. I used just my first name and it felt a bit weird for some reason, not sure why. "It's Gary" made me think of "It's Pat". I'm starting to like the new intro better than the one I initially used other than the first/last or just first name thing. Maybe next time I'll try, "Hi, Gary here..." Probably the biggest win is doing this consistently, I think this is my 8th or 9th week in a row. Baby steps.... https://www.linkedin.com/posts/garyb_career-linkedin-japan-activity-7047096311027793921-Ry-G

Hi people, I messed around with the pop up picture. As a general profile picture, and also for my fb profile. Some feedback would be great :). Thanks!

Got my home studio up and running and put this together. Basically just kept the tape rolling while going through several video ideas for my Positive Referee project. Some will be cut into website welcome videos, landing /sales page, and thank you and upsell pages. Also added a few of these quick tip videos and thought I'd share this one to get feedback from the group on how it looks and any tips for improvement. Also trying to decide between the logo backdrop or a photo, which comes off better/less distracting/more professional? https://youtu.be/v3AFMfXJYiw

I did some daring changes to the ABOUT ME info on Linked In... an experiment... would love to know what you think. Here goes Living with Chronic Pain sucks. It limits you from living the life you want- personally and professionally. I know how first hand how hard it can be. I had been diagnosed with a chronic disease (Costochondritis) because of which I was in chronic pain. Nothing I tried worked for me. Eventually, I was asked to quit my job and be on bed rest indefinitely. I couldn't be a regular mom to my kids who were only 5 and 6 years at the time. Life sort of came to a standstill. Luckily, I discovered an alternative approach and healed my chronic disease and pain permanently. For the past 15 years, I have helped hundreds others experience relief from their chronic pain. My work has been featured on national TV, national news The Bangkok Post, and local and international magazines. My book INSTANT PAIN RELIEF is a bestseller on Amazon in the Holistic Medicine category. Because of the success in my work, I have been invited to share stage alongside renowned personalities like Dr. Joe Vitale (from THE SECRET), Jack Canfield and others. I work with CEOs, MDs,Founders, Entrepreneurs who are 📈sick and tired of living with chronic pain 📈frustrated as the medical approach and treatments haven't brought the relief they seek 📈feeling limited not being able to do things they want to 📈desperate to find a way out of their pain as they know there's more to their life than what they are living The results? Feeling 🚀light and free from the burden of pain 🚀peace and clarity day to day 🚀equipped with a powerful, natural, and effective healing tool for life Now, I don't have a magic pill. However, if you are open for an alternative way to help yourself, ready to have an honest conversation about what's not working, and willing to do what it takes, I am committed to helping you, just like I have helped hundreds of others. If you want to have a chat, drop me a message at- shalini@eftthailand.com

Hello everyone, My name is Doug. I am a full-time software engineer I am building a SaaS agency using GHL. Expert Statement: I help experts save time and make more money by using client attraction systems and content marketing through my G.A.M.E.L.O.O.P method. (but you all are family so in "non-marketing terms" I build sales funnels and send traffic to that funnel using content marketing) Fun FACT: I have a twin sister I joined this community so I can learn how to land clients on LinkedIn and leave my job to go full-time with my SaaS agency.

I've been using the same intro in all my videos (5 so far) and am wondering if it's becoming repetitive to people who watch multiple videos and if I could do better, or if it's not that big of a deal. Gave it some thought after watching Jordan's "Magnetic Communication" video and came up with a new Intro when using The Format. Old/Current: "Hi, I'm Gary Bremermann, I'm a Tokyo-based recruiter and founder of Happy Mondays, an online and offline community designed to support career growth for bilingual professionals in Japan." New/Considering: "Hi, I'm Gary, I help bilingual professionals in Japan master the core skills and knowledge you need to accelerate career growth and find more joy in your work." Three questions: 1) Is it good to mix it up a bit while still having consistency to "implant" the value proposition? 2) Is the New/Considering one better than the Old/Current one? The new one doesn't mention my role (recruiter) or the community I'm working on building (Happy Mondays) so feeling like not doing so might be a mistake. 3) I've been using first and last name, but am thinking to change to just first name. Not sure which is better. Thank you in advance for your consideration.

Hi @Jordan Blackman- the comment to close bonus is gold. It is awesome. I can clearly see how it can increase my conversations. I just have a quick question regarding that- 1. Should I entice people for the interview with £10 amazon voucher for their 30 mins of their time. So there is atleast some benefit for the person 2. Should I ask them to fill a survey before the call (qualifying questions of 4-5) to see if the client fits my client avatar. If it does not then I will politely decline the call Whats your thoughts on it?

In last month's group call, a couple people were asking if I had a referral program. I was tickled that these kind folk wanted to share the course with their peeps. Thank you! Now, I don't have a fancy software affiliate system. But starting today, if you refer someone to the course, I'm happy to venmo or paypal you 50% of the price of the BBF course. DM me here in Skool with the name of the email address of the person you referred and I'll take care of ya. -Jordan

👋 Hi, my name is Isabel Da Guerra from Northern Ireland. I'm still busy setting up my coaching business - Coach Isabel D. My focus is on foreign-speaking professionals in the accounting industry who need better business English language for career progression. Marketing my business (face) has been a challenge, I admit. Hence, the reason I'm here now. 😁 I'm sure you agree Jordan's short-video concept is a game-changer for us here. Phew! For fun I like to travel, and so far, three countries this year already. I used to sketch and paint but now do it on my iPad. Do puzzles, some 3D too.

Just put this one up. Tried to make it shorter this time while providing value. I'm still quite nervous in front of the camera but bit by bit getting more comfortable. Used a lower camera level this time. There's some kind of color conversion issue with LinkedIn as it adds a slight orange hue which isn't in the original video. I still want to improve the production quality but for now I'm getting some practice in using the framework. I need to learn more about LinkedIn metrics to truly understand how the videos perform, but have been getting some good connection requests, etc. https://www.linkedin.com/posts/garyb_job-interview-japan-activity-7038768286188150784-V12r?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop

A small win, but something I'm quite happy about... I followed Jordan's instructions for "Profile Pics That Pop!" using Canva for the first time to make the attached graphic which I'll be using (may keep improving it) on my new Skool site. I'm not an artist and struggle with the tech, but this was quite easy thanks to the instructions. Seems like the background removal and highlighting is only available on the Canva Pro account, but they offer a 30 day trial if that's the only thing you need it for.

#2. Video Structure The “You Hook”: - Hi! Are you struggling to get leads for a certain service or location? I have good news for you!  - There’s a simple step you can take when asking for client reviews that will help boost your visibility even more. The Intro - “Hey it’s Tamhas here from Boostable.com.au. I’m here to help your businesses get found by more new customers online. The Promise Kept - In my last video, I showed you how to find your Google review link, so you can send it to your customers and get reviews more easily. - Today, I'm going to show you how to tweak your review request messages to get even more leads for the services you provide in the area you service. - You may have noticed when you are googling for services online, you often see snippet of review text under the Google Maps search result, that mentions the service or location that you were searching for. - This shows us how reviews help Google to confirm what services you provide, and where you provide them to. - So we want to make sure that people leaving reviews for us mention what we did and where we did it. - So, just below your review link, you should say something like this: Google loves detail! Please be sure to mention the town or suburb you are in, and which of our services you used. For example: - Now the trick here is to make sure these match the business categories you have in your Google Maps listing. - So you will again go to your Google maps app. Click your icon. Click your business profiles. Choose your business and then click edit profile. Once in there you'll click “business information” and halfway down the page. Are your business categories. These are what you will add to your business request message. The “You CTA” - Did you find this helpful? Then please give it a like so others can find it too! - Do you want help getting your business found quick? Send me a message here or at Boostable.com.au. Talk soon!

#2. Video Structure 1. Have you ever wondered why a workshop could be the best way to grow your business? 2. It’s Amy and I help coaches and consultants grow their brand and get paying clients by helping you create your own events!  3. In today's short video I’m going to show you how creating your own workshop is the best way to get your clients to buy from you. 4. The way you’ re going to get more clients to buy from you is by building REAL relationships with people. People buy from people. FACT! And while posting on social media is great for getting eyes on you, it’s not enough to convert those eyes to paying clients. So when you run a workshop 2 things happen! 1. You get in close proximity with your audience and you allow them to experience first hand the REAL you and they get a true sense for who you are and what you stand for and 2. With a workshop you have the opportunity to actually give a TRANSFORMATION, people will see you as an expert because you’ve proven that you can deliver, giving you more credibility. So when you ask for the sale, your audience is going to be excited to actually pay you because they know you really SERVE them.  5. So if you are a coach and need help creating a workshop that naturally and easily brings in paying clients, send me a DM

Hi team, I had a call with Jordan this morning and it was great. I have made my first video and posted to linked in. I’m really struggling with being able to read my script and still maintain eye contact with the iPhone/camera. I’m making a lot of mistakes because I don’t know my script. I just watched illya kuipers video and she looks like she knows her script or is reading it Straight to the camera? Any help would be appreciated. I airdropped this to my Mac to edit in iMovie, but something has gone wrong with the video size. Let me know your thoughts. https://youtu.be/wPW4Wg9zYl8

Would you blow your nose on video? Or do something completely normal that you do in front of your friends and colleagues but you "filter" it out during the video recording? I kinda went through something like that - which was totally unexpected - but I thought I'm gonna leave it in the video and continue anyway instead of edit it out Check it out and let me know what you think https://www.linkedin.com/posts/millennialexpertasia_the5gleader-asvasrasvavqauqasrauzauzasjaspasr-activity-7039554732062871553-A5TJ?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop

#2. Video Structure Hi Guys, In dutch so I do not expect comments, but do wanted to share that I did my homework ;-). 1.

#2. Video Structure Do you fear for your live, or your childs’, if you fast in Ramadan while you’re pregnant or breastfeeding? Assalaamu aleykum, I’m Ilya Umm Bilaal and I help my sisters reclaim their health Sunnah Style! In this video I’m going to tell you my story of fasting while breastfeeding and how to answer this question for yourself that buzzes around every Ramadan. The Promise Kept 6 years ago, when my son was 3 months and Ramadan was approaching I pondered on this question because it is the condition that the scholars give for not fasting. When I reached inside, I could not discover fear. So, I talked to my husband about it. I told him I would lie if I would say I feared for my life or our sons’. I asked him what he thought about it. At first, he told me he was scared. I asked him whether he thought we would perish instantly if I would fast. He smiled and shook his head. Then I asked him whether he trusted me. Alhamdulillah, he said he did. So, I asked him whether he would let me try to fast, and that I would break my fast the moment I thought it was having a negative impact on Bilaals health or mine. Day after day, I fasted without any problem. Alhamdulillah, that year I completed the whole month, without missing a day, and Bilaal and I were both fine. When Shawwal came, and I wanted to fast the 6 voluntary days, Allah showed me enough is enough 😊. About 4 hours after fajr, I started to feel very bad. So, I broke my fast. The second year, I asked my son’s father for the same trust, and he agreed. That year, for some reason, it proved to be much more difficult! I ended up alternating fasting a day and not fasting for two days that Ramadan. Alhamdulillah. That was also fine. After that, I regularly fasted throughout the year to make up for the missed days. I share this story to make clear that not all is black & white; there are many shades of grey. Besides, every~BODY is different! So, what one sister can do, does not work for the other.

Hello, my name is Marta and I'm from Estonia! Fun fact for intro: I was given an awesome double name because my parents wanted to name me Marta and my grandparents wanted me to be Jaana and so that everyone would be happy, I was given both names. My parents call me to this day Marta and my grandparents call me exclusively Jaana :D! I currently am working as a cello teacher and a piano accompanist and I'm very interested in expanding myself in coaching and becoming one professionally! I already mentor and coach my students and feel like it's time to expand outwardly and start making content in that area on social media (the reason why I joined)! I'm excited what this space offers so without further ado let's goo! Note: this is my workspace as I saw people posting theirs.
