What Stories Does Cinema Need Right Now? 🎬
Following up on lasts post on What Kind of Films the Future needs we had an amazing call today to really work that out and actually got some nice results. What kind of films the future needs? The Future needs films made of the fabric of life itself and to find the hero within oneself, and celebrate the heros of everyday life. They are made from real moments told by those who actually lived them and that are unique to their context. They entertain, without being entertainment. They educate, without being educational They are fun, without being a comedy. They reject the label, to embody A world that is in constant transformation. world that is in constant transformation. They bring a smile on your face, A thought in your shower, A dialogue on the dinner table, And are a role model without trying. And sometimes a tear to your eye, Where you don´t know if its laughter or sadness. Your comments last time indicated... We're tired of the same stuff. Superhero movies, remakes, formulas. We want original stories with real emotion again. We want to feel connected. Stories that bridge divides. That show our humanity. Not more dystopian warnings, but films about how we find meaning and love in this crazy tech-driven world. Everyone deserves to be seen. Stories from all backgrounds, in ALL genres. Not just dramas—give us sci-fi, thrillers, comedies with diverse voices leading the way. Play the recording, the ending is REALLY interesting. Maybe i will create a shortened version of it cause we really hit an inspirational point for us both and are happy to share it with you

🎬 How We Made a Film in 4 Days With Zero Budget 10 years ago — And How You Can Too
Here’s a film I made when I was 18, over 10 years ago. No money, — just a camera, four intense days, and a few close friends i invited to take part. The result? A 100% collaborative film that tought us so much. I’m sharing this to show you that you can what’s possible with almost nothing — and to walk you through the creative process step by step, so you can start making your own films. Phase 1: 📝 Writing The film started with a student competition around the theme “We just do it.” Even a single word or image can spark everything. - 🏜️ No reference? You're lost in the desert. - 🏝️ A theme? It’s your oasis. We brainstormed around the phrase and landed on a story about two enemy soldiers who, instead of fighting, choose to help each other. Now is YOUR time to ask all questions around writing - finding film ideas - writing film scripts Or anything else that keeps you from making films and landing clients I am looking forward to answer them ALL

Amazing!! I love the atmosphere!
A Call from within
Do you remember the moment when you realized you want to become a filmmaker? For me it was when I played with lego as a child and saw this "Movie Maker" Theme in the store. I then started to create little animation films with my friends with my parents VHS camcorder and we had so much fun.... There was something magical in creating your own world, inspired by reality yet shaped by an intentional message behind. I think I even have some of the old videos... Might go for this treasure hunt !! Do you have a similar moment? Or even an accumulation of moments? Would love to hear them!!!

@Jeremy Coulter so interesting! How do you play with lightning to support your visual storytelling?

@Jeremy Coulter ooh, I love that. Lighting is so powerful! it changes the atmosphere, the colours and everything 🌟☺️
When was the first time you did a "film"?
Do you remember when you – for the first time ever – did not only take a video on your phone yet you took a video with intention, with a story to tell in mind? Mind to share what this first piece of film art was about? Maybe you even have a link to show us?

@Diana Frank between 2017 and 2019 I did some other productions from series up to a cinema movie. And some more students productions recently. Just for fun (for me)
