🍞 Sourdough for Beginners is LIVE in the Classroom!

@Pacha Hornaday Thank you! I love it all. I would love to learn to make the fancier looks (scoring/shaping) but not as important as just having fresh bread to start with! :) I need to start trying to make other items besides just loaves.

@Pacha Hornaday Yes! Fire cider and elderberry! I tried to dig up and bring a few elderberry trees with me to the new house. It looks like we have lots already growing here, but I think the wildlife beat me to it last season. I am considering growing one in a pot so I can protect it as needed. :)

I did forget! I did get quite a bit straightened up in the office. Working on some organization with processes, and better use of virtual assistant. The videos have moved down the list of priority at the moment. :)

Don't forget! Our sourdough class is coming up soon! Make sure to register and join us live! Bring ALL your sourdough questions! This will be a beginner class! I'll teach you how to make super easy, gut-friendly sourdough sandwich bread – without special tools, kneading bread for hours, or fancy ovens... All you need is: - flour - water - salt - patience - a bread pan - some oil - and sourdough starter I'll tell you more about everything and where to get it during the class! Check out the video. We recorded it during the first Covid lockdown when my daughter (10 at the time) made her first sourdough bread. If a 10-yo can do it, so can you! 😘 Hope you can make it!

I love this! I need to start a starter! ;) We've been baking with a new flour but haven't mastered it yet. More dense than our previous flour. We ordered it from Janies Mill. I belieive it is heirloom organic red fife. But we love sourdough, just haven't gotten a starter.
