Mixing on Glp 2 Help
Hey guys so I need a little advice like asap. So the way me and my friends have been mixing the meds we kind of make it, we're bad at math idiot proof. For example, if we have a 20 mg vial we do full syringes which is 100 units per syringe which equals up to 200 units. That way when her dose is 2.5 we know to take exactly 2.5 or the dose is five. We take exactly five. With that being said, she has a 60 mg bottle and does not think six full units of the syringe will fit into the bottle. We need help. Mathing. I told her what I think is if we do three units instead of the six. We just cut the dose in half. Because technically we're cutting the amount of solution in half. So then her starting dose instead of 2.5 would be 1.25. am I correct in this? Is there an easier way like we're 5 years old? Thank you guys

@Nichole Scordato also the mixing doesn't have to be so complicated. Here: Tirz 20mg 1.2ml Bac 2.5mg Week 1-4 (15 UNITS) 5.0mg Week 5-8 (30 UNITS) 7.5mg Week 9-12 (45 UNITS) 10.0mg Week 13-16 (60 UNITS) 12.5mg Week 17-20 (75 UNITS) 15.0mg Week 21+ (90 UNITS) Tirz 60mg 2.4 ml bac 2.5mg Week 1-4 (10 Units) 5.0mg Week 5-8 (20 units) 7.5mg Week 9-12 (30 units) 10.0mg Week 13-16 (40 units) 12.5mg Week 17-20 (50 units) 15mg Week 21+ (60 units)

@Sabrina H this is the standard protocol based off Eli Lily's clinical trial which doctors will follow. Of course anyone can increase more slowly. I did based on finding my therapeutic dose. In week 23 and I'm still at 4mg only titrating up 2x.
Tesa & Ipa
Any women currently using this? I am doing 2 separate vials, they are not combined and curious on starting dose and how to minimize the water retention that is always talked about … I know they say it goes away for some but if I can do anything on the front end to help reduce it I’m all for it!

@Jennifer Bannister As I mentioned in my previous comment I myself have not started this yet. I shared with you with another moderator what he said. This will be the standard protocol based on 10 mg vials of each peptide: Tesa 10mg 2ML bac water 20 units 5 days on 2 days off Taken 90 minutes after last meal before bed _______ IPA 10mg DAILY 2ml bac 250 mcg - 5units 300 mcg - 6 units 350 mcg - 7 units 400mcg - 8 units 450 mcg - 9 units 500 mcg - 10 units

@Jennifer Bannister You can absolutely start lower and titrate up as needed.
Teens on glp's
Anyone start there teen on Glp1 in this group? My daughter wants to try it. I ordered it but the doctor she sees wants me to only use name brand. Any one else just do it ?

@Tina Menzia this is something you should speak to your doctor about. Labs need to be done every 3 months to check pancreas and liver function as well as lipids.

@Tina Menzia deleted my other comment only because I forgot your daughter is a teen. Read that you've started her on Tirz tho. Definitely ensure she's getting labs done every 3 months to check her pancreas and kidneys.

NAD
I’m curious to learn about NAD ? I have RA , I have fatigue, joint pain, inflammation. I’m currently on no meds for it due to side affects of them , this was my choice . My skin is dry and patchy and my energy is low . I’m wanting to help all of these symptoms. Is NAD what I need ?

@Kim Evans can I ask why you stopped HRT? This can' be taken for life.

@Kim Evans your Dr is wrong. Outdated information. I would hop back on BHRT and find a knowledgeable hormone specialist that will properly treat you. BHRT is for life, not just in Peri/meno.
