Nice shoes! 👍🏽
OOTD - Thursday 23 July
Today is that day of the week where I am in the office. It is a terrific day to have come in also. The new Senior Capture Manager started 2 weeks ago and it is someone that I ran into at a meetup for Proposal Professionals a couple of years ago. Chris is a great public speaker and another well dressed gentleman, so I now have someone to talk clothing with at work. Green and brown form a grounded, professional pairing because both are muted, nature inspired tones that convey steadiness and reliability. The cool depth of green adds a subtle pop without being flashy, while brown’s warm neutrality anchors the look and complements my leather briefcase. Together this all creates a balanced contrast and visual harmony that reads polished yet approachable in a corporate setting. Choosing deeper, desaturated shades and fine textures keeps the combination formal and refined. I have thrown in a @Stephen Horner-esque seated photo, just to give it a try. Todays outfit consists of; Oxford Woolrich Mason Overcoat in Dark Olive M.J. Bale Bowning Suit is cut 100% Merino wool and woven in Italy into a Super 110s twill with a subtle two-tone micro pupstooth weave and lightly brushed flannel finish. My new OTAA Hartwell Cognac Stipe Poplin Shirt My new OTAA Emerald Isle Brown Striped Necktie OTAA Bond Tie Clip in Gold OTAA King Of Cool Brown Wool Pocket Square OTAA Spiculus Tiger’s Eye Gladiator Helm Bracelet OTAA Banana Slip Socks in Mint Ecco Double Monkstraps (may be the final wear before the new shoes come tomorrow) Republic of Florence Pretoria Terra - 15” Leather Laptop Breifcase SOTD - Montale Intense Cafe WOTD - Timex Q 1972 Machine Reissue Gold Bracelet Brown Dial Watch TW2Y45200 - AKA The Mayor

Is there a "trick" to getting that nice dimple in your tie? Most of the time I use a double Windsor knot and find it too difficult to have a dimple.
Dining etiquette
How much do we know about dining etiquette today, considering most people live in big cities and and the mad rush, do we forget about dining etiquette - either at someone's home (invited guest) or a restaurant?

@Jonathon Shane Crawford Yes, I have. It was a wonderful reminder for me, though I knew most of the information already. And, I do believe that dining etiquette is severely lacking these days. The younger generations have no idea; unless they were properly.
