Hello!
Thank you for having me in this group! I’m really excited to be here and to learn and grow in my passion. I wear several hats. One of them is that I expose child predators on the Internet. But I expose the ones that are older cases. They go back into the 80s and 90s and early 2000s. I do this because they don’t get as much exposure anymore, but the victims still have as much pain and trauma. My dream is to have a channel where I can produce well-made documentaries about the victims. Travel the US and find them and ask them if they have healed, or grown, or found any peace and resolution at all. Or if the trauma still lingers so much that they can’t find serenity. Just let them have a space to speak their relatives and truths. I would also work to find the actual convicted predators and interview them, as well. But mostly because I like for them to talk. Because I’ve never encountered one yet that isn’t a liar and a narcissist, and I like to watch them hang themselves with their own words. But I only really want to do that so that they look stupid or foolish. But mostly, I want to talk to the victims. I want to give them the opportunity to have a voice finally. Because so many of them have lived for 20 or 30 or even up to 40 years without a voice and without getting to tell their story. So far, I’ve been very fortunate in that victims have reached out to me. Usually, they reach out because they know that their predator is probably still predating and they want them exposed.

Welcome to the community, Bridget! Your mission to give a voice to victims and uncover these important stories is truly powerful and inspiring. Filmmaking can be such a transformative tool for advocacy and healing, especially in documentary work. Have you thought about how you might approach blending sensitivity with storytelling in your documentaries to ensure the victims feel safe and empowered? I’d love to hear about what creative strategies you’re considering for this important work.

I checked out your YouTube channel and love the personal touch in your work. What’s the most memorable story you’ve told so far, and how do you decide which topics to pursue? Looking forward to learning from your experiences!
