I had some wins this week! I’m driving - pit stop now - so I’ll post later. But look at what I ate this week!! I don’t know exactly what I’m doing yet, but I’m working on it!! Multi grain flat bread, avocado, everything bagel seasoning, fresh garden tomato.

Sunday is always a great opportunity to meal plan, meal prep, reflect on the previous week, and prepare for the coming week. If you do nothing else today, make sure you take time to reflect. Self-awareness, reflection, and an honest assessment will reveal enough information to help you take care of practical strategies like meal planning, etc. When you master the art of being 100% truthful with yourself without beating yourself up, you’re well on your way to becoming the person you desire to be! Simple tips for a successful week ⬇️ ⭐️Take an honest assessment of last week. Make sure you’re being honest with yourself while giving a little room for grace. ⭐️Take a moment to plan out your meals for a few days. Something is always better than nothing. ⭐️Do an inventory of your refrigerator and pantry. Do you have what you need to cook the meals you’ve planned? This is part of being honest with yourself. ⭐️Grocery shop and meal prep if you have time. ⭐️Look at your calendar and plan now for your busier days! ⭐️Set an intention for the week and write it down. Read it every morning when you wake up.

@Jacqueline Todd Well, I drank 1/2 bottle. Just a regular bottle of Aquafina. Maybe 10oz? 🤪 But that’s more than yesterday. I got some lemons for tomorrow. 🍋

TAKING ACTION: ✅How has your opinion of extreme dieting changed since joining this program? Share with us below. We’ve been talking about your nutrition and metabolic health all week for the sake of building our glutes. Everything we’ve discussed is important when it comes to optimizing your metabolism, but there is one more nutritional topic we must discuss because it’s arguably the most important…⬇️ Extreme deficits. Calorie Counting. We’ve likely all been fooled by the promises of extreme dieting. We didn’t know better because that’s what we were told to do; however, now that we know better, we do better. 💯 When you take dieting to extremes and go into a deep caloric deficit for too long, your metabolism sees red flags. Not enough food means not enough energy. Your metabolism slows down and conserves energy for its necessary bodily functions, causing you to stop losing weight eventually. Here’s where the real problem comes in, however: You can’t live in a calorie deficit forever, so naturally, you begin eating more again. But guess what? Your metabolism is compromised. You begin eating more (without a strategy), but now, your metabolism can’t keep up (hence the phrase “slow metabolism”). 👌 Fortunately, our nutrition cycles here in this space are strategically created.
