Repost About Blitz
A Summary of Comments from @Rose Macabre and @Ana Belen Sevilla Ull In case it helps someone else. A blitz buddy is someone that is a new friend that you can check in with. It's like creating accountability for your respective goals. How you set up your check ins and become friends is up to both of you. At the moment, it is an anti-blitz month so the goals are more personal like getting healthy or fit or building better relationships with your loved ones. The goals you pick are ultimately up to you. During the blitz, there's an engagement contest that depends on how many points you get for that month. This will teach you about engagement, as well. The next one is in May. For your structure, which I also need, and luckily my blitz buddy @Gunta Skrastiņa explained it to me very well at the beginning: The goal is to be at the top of the weekly leadboard every week of the blitz. That puts you at the top of the monthly leadboard, and you win. To achieve that, you need a lot of likes. To get those, you have to participate in every conversation by commenting. ~ And this is where everyone has their own style and timing. Some have GIF wars, others leave many short comments on each post, others copy and paste the same comment everywhere, others read everything and try to chat with everyone... every strategy is unique, but the goal is the same: to get a lot of points and lead the leaderboard. There are rules: you can't receive more points than you give (you can in the system, but they don't count in the game). So you have to like a lot of things and people too. And if you give a lot of likes to just one person (like your blitz buddy), they don't count either. If more than 50% of your points are for the same profile, none of your points count. The reason that it's vague is that there are only loose rules for both so you can be creative and participate in the blitz or anti-blitz in whatever way makes sense to you. You do not need rigid structure for either of these, it's up to you to be creative and make friends with your blitz buddy and of course other members.

Hey I am too! Do you want to connect for May?
Late Intro 🍐
I am a Certified Trauma and Resilience Life Coach (CTRLC), Trauma Educator, Consultant, Coaching Mentor, and Advocate. I live in the Western region of New York (WNY) and I am south of Buffalo (Go Bills!) in a little town, in a little house under pine trees. Surrounded by animals, and stray cats. I have three cats of my own, one of which I rescued from outside. If only I could take them all in! I have a background in non-profit mental health as a peer education coordinator, coach, trauma support, and lead advocate for Western NY advocating for Mental Health Education in schools and support for Veterans. I also put together conferences for trauma survivors and spoke on stages for the Mental Health Association of New York State. I am now an advocate for coaching industry reform after facing the unique challenges of transitioning from providing in person services to the wild west of the online coaching space and have taken a proactive approach towards change. - My favorite color is green. 💚 - My favorite Pokemon, I had another one listed but I am really drawn to Dragonair (I never had a favorite one or had interest in this until I joined here and now I have no idea where to start learning. Is there a Pokemon Handbook? What should I be watching?) - My biggest Skool struggle at the moment? Figuring out how to set it up right from the beginning so I don't have to tear down and re-do things. I am a chronic pain patient with a disability. Going all in is a big deal and I need to make the time + energy that I put into this count as much as possible. - Fun facts about me: I have a Pay It Forward Service Model and do my best to push through systemic barriers that try to trap me with tenacity, creativity, heart, and philanthropy. Killing it with joy where possible, and coming for everything they try to take and deplete from me. I have a Cadaver bone in my foot from doctors human error (I am cool with it💩 happens) two different doctors worked on me. You can absolutely tell a difference and my toe is a party trick for Halloween at this point.
