Progesterone
I’m on 100mg progesterone on day 5 through day 25. I first started this protocol last month. It was only 20 days because of where I was at in my cycle. I also had my usual cervical mucus cycle in there too. I stopped the progesterone on day 25 and got my period 3 days later. This cycle was totally different. I started progesterone on day 5, no mucus cycle and my period started on day 20 and I was still taking progesterone. Now, my question is, why did my period start while still taking the progesterone? Isn’t it suppose to stay up while on progesterone and then drop off and period start a few days after? Can someone educate me? Do I stop the progesterone since I got my period? I do understand somewhat how progesterone works because I had years of infertility treatments. Doing it for perimenopause is different for me. I see my doctor the 22nd of this month and I will be asking her too. Thank you.

@Amber Myers thank you
Happy Monday Elevate Fam 😇
Let’s play a quick game. You can only describe your hormones using a weather forecast. What’s the vibe today? Sunny and steady? Total thunderstorm? Unexpected tornado warning? 🌞❄️⛈️ Drop your “hormone forecast” or any questions you’ve been sitting on. Let’s get the convo going! 😊

Cold and low
Introducing myself
Hi. I’m from North Dakota. My husband and I are small grain farmers. One day I found Elevate MD and have been very interested since. I never knew all the symptoms of perimenopause and menopause so information has been great. I go to a functional doctor and she ordered a Dutch test. I revealed my hormonal issues. I can’t wait to start feeling better.
