Food for thought
What determines jewelry value? For example: I follow a seller who was born into he jewelry business and has beautiful pieces but are either sterling or gold plated and when I first met her on her live I asked her why her pieces where so expensive and she stated there is alot of workmanship that goes into each piece. So why do her pieces get sold for such an expensive price? We are talking about 100 dollars for a pair of earrings. This seller is very well known and has awards for her pieces. There is another seller his pieces of jewelry are amazing and the workmanship is phenomenal and I get so upset when I go watch his live shows and people just sit there and don't bid. Come on 29.00 is a good price for a ring he was selling with real metal. I want to help him increase his sales

Something else to consider is personality. People will pay more for entertainment! I think we’ve all seen it before. …or, maybe the one seller hasn’t been “discovered” yet. Sometimes, a RAID might help tremendously.

An option to resusitate Plastic Jewelry!
Wanted to share a product I found that has helped me bring scratched up plastic jewelry back to life! Found this on Amazon. I've been using it for about 1 1/2years. I have been able to bring back acrylic pieces that were unsellable. It doesn't necessarily remove all the scratches however, it does definitely improve the item. Emily Glazer bought the black heart Acrylic necklace below, and I treated it before I shipped it. In the pic below one of the is treated one time. So of the improvement was just cleaning it! However after 3 treatments is was nice and shiny again. If you try it, always test it in a unnoticeable spot. Otherwise I just the instructions. I've also used in on vintage 70s decor with great results!

Ooooh!! Yes!! I like! Thanks for this tid-bit; running to Amazon so I can try it tomorrow, lol!! I’m always afraid polishing with a light abrasive could actually leave more tiny scratches?! So I’m excited to give this a try. Worth trying before tossing!! 🤔..I think I could use this on one of the cars!!?
Hmmm...
First off, Brad I hope you don't mind this being posted here?!? I found these lovelies in a jewelry bag yesterday. What is everyone's opinion on them? They feel somewhat lightweight but not cheap. The construction is very nice. Prong set, good tight clips, givre center stone. P.S. Google lens is no help.

@Bradley Johns bhahaaa…this is what I’m here for! Thank you. I spent so much time in research; I kinda like it actually, but it KILLS THE CLOCK!! I get so frustrated at the end of those low production days. Time killers for sure! (But inside i’m seething…I neeeed to know!!! ☠️💆🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️) …the research & the cleaning. Gotstago, uggh. 😅

Been buying/collecting jewelry that I “like” for much of my adult life. I’ve been learning more about the value & re-selling/flip side. Here for it.
