So im hard-core struggling with building these new habits with the weight of life going on. The mothers of my kids. Bills never being home always on the road. I'm literally out of the house from 6 am to 11 at night. I'm just really struggling. Any advice.

Just as Sam said. Goal one, sobriety. If you’re on the road a lot of the day you have tons of time to crush mindset stuff like the motiversity.
Vulnerable
Hey fellas. I am rewatching the call from Wednesday and it is hitting home for me big time. I have been really uncomfortable to be vulnerable and reach out. I am really good at supporting others but then lying to myself and keeping it all to myself and struggling internally. I totaled my 4Runner last Friday (not drinking don’t worry) but the stress it inflicted did cause me to have some slips this past week. I gave in to the voice and the numbing. I’m not proud. Doing the workouts and tracking the food isn’t hard for me. It is putting down the habit of the bottle and the inner dialogue. I’m an expert at making excuses for myself. I am doing the uncomfortable and reaching out and admitting it to you guys and myself to find the courage to keep up the fight and momentum I had. Thanks for listening.

Hit your daily protein goals and save your hardest workouts for the days you’d drink the most. Always progress and not perfection in the beginning anyways. Keep going.

@Chad Wenzel that first month when you’re not drinking emotions are all over the place. Recognizing and learning what triggers you to drink is key. Whether you win or fail in the beginning, you come back at it stronger the next time. And when you win the next time you start building resilience. You only fail if you don’t try again. Keep going man.
Week 1
First seven days sober in years and I decided to test it hard with 2 Halloween party’s last night. I stayed strong and kept the course. 1 week isn’t much, but I’m pretty damn happy about.
