☀️ Builder's Morning
A gentle one for the middle of the week, and as always, this is about your community, not this one. There's a subtle shift that changes everything, and it's not tactical, it's internal. It's the move from "am I allowed to charge for this?" to "my work has real value." Notice those are completely different questions. The first asks permission from some invisible judge. That judge is usually made of old voices, a message you picked up somewhere that helpers shouldn't profit, or that wanting to be paid is somehow greedy. Not truth. Just an old echo. The second question isn't a question at all. It's simply true. And you don't need anyone's permission for something that's true. The value you create is real whether or not you've fully made peace with being paid for it. Your discomfort doesn't shrink your worth. It just means the worth arrived before the peace did. So, sit with this today... Where are you still asking permission for something you could simply recognize as real?

🔬 A Quick Heads-Up for Thursday
This week we've been sitting with a big idea.💡 Real value comes first, and everything else, including the money, follows from it. This morning was the inner side of that. Today, just a simple heads-up. You all know Growth Boost, Todd's talked about it plenty, and it's making the rounds on Skool. There were some updates to it just yesterday, and rather than try to unpack all of that in a post, Todd's going to host a session on it this Thursday at 11:00 Central. He'll walk through what changed, how it actually works now, and how to think about whether it fits the kind of community you're building. Here's how we'll always handle things like this. No cheerleading, no fear-mongering. Just the facts, laid out honestly, so you can decide for yourself what's right for you and your community. We'd rather be a source you can trust than one that's trying to sell you on something. And a quick note on how things work around here, because I want to make sure this is clear. This free space, right here, is our Research Lab, the discovery space. It's where we think things through, notice what's working, and figure out what we're building. That's open to everyone, always, and everything we learn gets shared right here. When you're ready to actually roll up your sleeves and implement, there's the Build Room. That's our Premium space, where we do the work together, live and hands-on. Thursday's Growth Boost session is a Build Room session, so it's for our Premium members. But as always, whatever's worth learning from it comes back here to the Research Lab for everyone. Different stages, different needs, and you're never on the outside of the ideas. So if Growth Boost is on your radar and you're Premium, we'll see you in the Build Room Thursday at 11:00 Central. And if it's not your thing right now, no worries at all, we'll be right back here with more next week.

Oh gosh, I have a conflict this week with a workshop I'm attending in another skool community.
☕ Common Ground
One of my favorite things about this community is getting to know the amazing people behind the profile pictures.🫂 So, let's have a little fun today... Complete this sentence: Outside of work, you'll usually find me...👀 Maybe you're... 🌿 Tending a garden 📚 Lost in a good book 🥾 Exploring a hiking trail 🎨 Creating something with your hands 👨‍🍳 Trying a new recipe 🎣 On the lake 🐾 Spoiling your pets ☕ Curled up with coffee and a cozy blanket Or maybe it's something completely different! I'll start in the comments. 😊 👇 Your turn! Let's discover a little more about each other.

@Lynne Vella they are mischievous critters! They love lying on the deck but we constantly sweep because they 💩 all the time.
We Tested Several Skool "Classifieds" Communities
The "Promote-Friendly" Skool Classifieds Group That's Beating the Rest So Far We've published our initial results from testing across several "Classifieds" Skool communities. You can read the full page-by-page breakdown at the link below, but one group clearly stood out initially, both in the comments we received and in the bang for your buck for most members. To be fair, joining any community can pay off if it connects you with people who help you grow or who turn out to be the right-fit clients for what you offer. Want to see which Classifieds groups came out on top so far? Check out the full review here. Thanks to our own @Jean Day McCarthy for suggesting this type of review. What have your own results been when advertising in these groups?

@Loretta Arey I get what your saying, I've seen that happen... a lot. but there maybe another thought to consider. Perhaps they believe that another person does a better job teaching a subject than they can teach it. I do have several modules, where I promote other communities. For instance, there's a gal I know (because I am a member of her community) who is amazing in teaching all things, YouTube. Another member of my community who teaches all about writing content. And another who teaches AI. They can do a better job than I can. Now granted, my community is a broad-based community, I help older women seeking to learn how to make money online and I highlight the various ways they can do this. One thing I do though, is I write how I know this person, why I think they do a good job with their topic, and the value they will receive from them before I even shared the link in the page promoting them. I hope I wrote this clearly enough that it's understandable.
Let's Welcome Danielle!🎉
@Danielle Reid , welcome to Skoolology! 💙 We love that you've chosen such a focused niche. Communities that solve a specific problem often have the strongest foundation. Since your goal for the next 30 days is bringing in new members, I think you'll find a lot of practical ideas here. Looking forward to seeing your community grow and learning alongside you!
