Painfully Happy
I recently discovered Venba has a stock of Profumo. I have been missing having this in my collection since my last bottle ran dry a couple of years ago. I am very happy to have acquired a new bottle. The painful part of my happiness was the $299 pricetag 😣. When I thought about it though I enjoy this fragrance more than anything else I own. It is surely one of the best fragrances ever created.

@Chris Beasley this was my first buy from them. It went smoothly, they communicated well and shipping was okay. They used FedEx which arrived a day later than expected but we get that a lot with FedEx. The bottle is authentic which is always the biggest concern. Overall it was the best shot for this one there are way too many fakes on eBay

@Lon Chaneyfield they do have an "authenticity promise" and a 4.9 rating on trust pilot. But they do state they only accept sealed packages for returns. I'm not sure how it would go if you ended up with a fake. I think they are probably as trustworthy as any other popular discounter.
New Roja Elysium Noir
It sounds like it’s officially out! Anybody get their nose on this yet? Anxious to check it out.

Can't wait to try this

@Lon Chaneyfield agreed it looks great. I don't think I've ever smelled blackberry in a fragrance
Mountain Air Today
Felt like wearing something citrusy, fruity and woody so I decided on Creed’s Silver Mountain Water. I really enjoy how this fragrance takes me from a breath of fresh mountain air to eventually leading to a warm and sensual experience. I don’t seem to wear this often enough.

Excellent choice 👌
Penhaligon's The Cut
I recently received a sample of Penhaligon's newest release "The Cut". Sunday morning dressed for church seemed like the perfect time to test it out. It is a very dapper people pleaser and works great for daytime business or business casual. While the published notes have nothing in common upon the initial spray it reminded me a little of JPG Le Male Parfum. As it dried down something deeper in it reminded me Green Irish Tweed without as much "green". It projected great for about three hours at about two feet before calming down a bit for the next two to three hours. Now seven hours in it's decently strong as a skin scent from 2-3 inches. Overall I give it 8/10.

@Robert Meyers it's not overly complex and fairly linear. It changes a little over time but not a lot.

It smells nice and I like it but it feels more designer than niche. It would be good to have in a collection but I would wait until it's discounted a bit. It's $260 on Penhaligon's website.
