Got my first self tie bow tie at the last month and just got a chance to try to learn to tie it. Don't know if it's me or it actually is but it seems like it's going to take a lot of practice. Worked on it for a while this evening and haven't gotten it right yet.

I go to goodwill whenever I can to look and see what they have. Most of the time I leave with nothing but today found a blazer, a sports coat, and a tie so I was pretty excited. Been looking for a blue blazer but also found an unlined sports coat which I had heard about but never seen and in Texas it's going to be a lot cooler in the massive heat of the summer.

I wanted to apologize for my lack of posts recently. A friend that owned another community passed away suddenly and I was asked to start a new room so that we can keep what he started alive since we don't have access to the admin side of the original room. That has just taken up the majority of my time.

My sartorial life is once again complete! After purchasing a new suit last spring, my wife finally let me off of financial probation, and I was able to buy a new navy blazer. As the one standard coat I will wear in 99% of the situations where I want to level up a little, and as my last serious retail investment for quite awhile, I wanted a well fitting, nicely made jacket. I am happy! It should go well with both the button downs and dress shirts I have thrifted recently, including two new Brooks Brothers shirts I picked up a couple of days ago. And just to assure everyone, I normally wear darker washed jeans, and secondly, I wear boot cut jeans longer than normal straight cut jeans. Dark burgundy Anson belt of course, to match my Justin roper boots and B.B. shirt.

Went to an afternoon concert — Hans Zimmer music — not my tempo but the company was good.
