Any advice? Ceramic Coating is a Little Streaky
I started out by practicing with the Cerakote kit and now use the newest headlight magic kit. To my customers the results look great, but I can tell the ceramic coating is going on a bit streaky. (if you pause the “after” video and zoom in a bit you can see it slightly hazy/streaky over the main bulb.). I have tried using a little more product, and a little less product to see if that would help but I just can’t seem to get rid of the streaks. Maybe i’m holding the applicator pad a little too firmly?? I’d be grateful for any ideas y’all have!

I think the issue is the 340 grit. I almost never go lower than 600. Try 600 and then spend more time going up from there

We’re leveling up and I can’t wait for these to come in. People ask me about my umbrella every single day, so we finally decided to make the leap and offer our own version online. The first run will be very limited, so keep an eye out. We should have a soft launch in about 30 days. I personally use my umbrella every day. It helps with rain, protects from the sun, and even makes filming a lot easier. This is one of those tools that once you have it, you’ll wonder how you ever worked without it. This is just an AI mockup for now, but I wanted to share a sneak peek with you guys. What do you think? This is the highest quality system we can build. 80 inches of shade or protection from rain and snow.

UV light
If you do a set of lights with the magic headlight solution can you use a UV light to speed up the curing process? Or is it a 24 hour drying out / curing process that can't be sped up? Just asking questions before I get started doing this full time. Thanks in advance

The ceramic is an oxygen cure not UV cure. So a light will not help. The biggest factors are moisture and oxygen levels
