This job, particularly the left headlight, was a good example/learning experience about needing to go lower in grit to completely remove the factory coating for me. It had a matte finish but I could still see the whole line at the top and some areas that didn’t sit right with me after 600 so I went down to 400 and sure enough it came completely off, glad I caught it!

Sanding pads
Maybe a dumb question but can you use the sanding pads multiple times or is one set per car for best results?

if you use a water spray bottle spray the residue off and it should last 5 cars or so. maybe not the lower grits
