Keep going
One of the things that keeps me playing every day is that I’ll usually find something that sounds new to me, at least. Whether it’s a way of plucking or a dynamic I don’t remember hearing before (though I probably have), there is usually something fresh and new that shows up. I enjoy playing blues licks, those long soulful riffs that speak to something deep inside. The pallet of what we can do is so broad. Make sure you spend a little time with your guitar today. Listen for something new. Let it feed your soul.

Tiny wins make a difference. I keep a guitar in the basement where I do the more rigorous practicing, and one near the couch for noodling.
Chord Technique
Does anyone have suggestions to help train my fingers to "spread" wider? for example help me use my Index and pinky at the same time. Like Aerosmith Come together where it's 5A and 9D. Thanks

John Petrucci has some exercises that help with that. Search YouTube for Petrucci Rock Discipline.
Big cabs
For you electric players, what’s the largest speaker cabinet you’ve used when performing? Mine was a stack of 2x12 cabs back when I had my van years ago. That stuff is too heavy to safely lift now.

I've got a Peavey Special 50 4x10 from the 90's. it's way too much amp for me now.
Do You Record Yourself Playing?
I do, for two reasons. 1. I'm a noodler. That is, I just mess around until I find something I like, then I build on it. When I do find something I like, recording it helps me to remember it the next day, or months later when I've moved on. 2. Playing can sound different inside your own head than it does on a recording. By recording yourself you may hear things you didn't notice while playing. It can help identify rough spots in your playing so you can improve. That's useful at every skill level. Bonus Reason: You may even discover you're doing better than you thought. 🙂

I do periodically, first, to have a reference point and record, so I can see improvement, and second, to see areas of improvement (there are many).

My current fave is my new(ish) Larrivee Forum VII. I mostly play it without amplification, but I have a Fishman Micro for when I want to be louder. It sounds really nice with La Bella Silver Plated strings. Right now it has 9s since I was trying to retrain my fingers to fret more lightly. Moving back to 11s soon.
