Focus for the week (nature)
This week, get out and spend time in whatever is as close to the wilderness as you can get. Even if that just means standing on your balcony in the sunshine. Ocean would be better. Or forest. If you can’t find time this week then plan a camping trip. Those who lose touch with nature seem sad to me. We are solar panels and should absorb sunshine on as much of the surface of our bare skin as possible. Go out and get naked in the sun. ☀️

After the arrest, I'll be referring the Authorities to this post. lol
Focus for the week (breath)
This week try to start breathing audibly before you get tired. Make this your focus. If you get submitted because you’re focused on breathing, it’s ok. Let your attention be 75% on your breath and 25% on your partner. You will not do as well but you are practicing something that will pay off later. tchew tchew tchew tchew. Have a great week of training 👊

Class Structure
I was curious to know how other instructors structure their classes? How long do you conduct class and if you use a curriculum. For example, my current fundamentals class is 24 classes and each class is an hour and structured like this: Warm-up: 10-15min Standing Move: 15-20min Ground Move: 20-25min Review Drill if time allows I try to get all of this within an hour. Sometimes it’s a struggle to fit all of that in the time frame. Any feedback and/or insight would help.

Full curriculum with 1 hour classes for Youth and 1.5 hours for Adults. We are also beginning to implement games for specific tasks as well.

@Nick Milla Some refer to it as the reverse armlock. I've always know it as the razor. For context https://www.instagram.com/reel/DIFkD7NK2f0/
