Stimulation before bed -> anxiety next morning ??
Hello I've started using this US 2000 device since about a week on my neck. I tried different intensities and settled on "low". It definitely helps me sleep, and I feel more relaxed (nothing more) after using it. However the next morning when I wake up I feel a lot of unexplainable "anxiety" or "fear". This occurs whether I sleep 8 or 10 hours. Could it be that my sympathetic nervous system is rebounding to re-establish balance the next morning ? I am aged 26yo. Any ideas ? Should I just keep using it for the month ?

I made a post documenting a similar thing where I was having sleep paralysis/nocturnal panic attacks and they resolved pretty quickly and I’m still doing the stimulation. Not sure how deep you are into it but I think it’s probably nbd
Reoccurrence of previously “solved” issues
Hey, I have just started doing the stimulation on the SCM muscle on my neck. I feel very relaxed after doing it, and was doing well with it the first two days I have done it, but I am now having nocturnal panic attacks that I haven’t had in several years. I had these during an INSANELY stressful period in my life (home invasion, job loss, suicide of two close friends in ~12 mo) and for whatever reason when I went on klonopin for two months they disappeared (essentially after the first week of medication and did not return after I stopped it) but I have had them two days in a row and this is the only thing I can attribute them to. For people who have had something like this happen, did you just power through it? Is it normal to have issues like this appear back out of nowhere? I feel better during the day when I do the stim still

@Jeffrey Fantastic it’s completely ceased since the two initial occurrences which is great!
Say Goodbye to Ozempic - Say *HELLO* to ... Ultrasound ?
Recently Dr. Kevin Tracey has been sharing LOADS of phenomenal information about Ozempic and GLP-1 drugs, Vagus Nerve Stimulation, and even Ultrasound ! Most recent one: "Using focused ultrasound (FUS) in the lab we wanted to mimic what GLP-1 drugs do — without the weekly injections. Using a machine found in every hospital (and every submarine) we stimulated the vagus nerve in obese mice and they lost weight. And they had less inflammation. Does a new future with fewer drugs await?" Do you guys get this ? There is a possibility that something like the US-2000 Pro could be utilized (either the stock version or with minimal frequency modifications, we think it's doable) - and you could throw away your GLP-1 drugs, or never need to buy them in the first place, wouldn't that be sweet !? I think so ! And from earlier: "Ozempic and GLP-1 cause weight loss via the vagus nerve. In people whose vagus nerve was surgically cut (below the diaphragm, not in the neck), GLP-1 did not reduce food intake or accelerate metabolism. These drugs work through the vagus, in ways we still do not fully understand." We are entering into the Golden Age for Vagus Nerve- Ultrasound Stimulation folks. You all joined at the perfect time - I highly recommend you grab an Ultrasound, and start recording your results immediately, we may find we're sitting on a world-changing discovery. It's been a honor and a privilege to serve all of you in your Vagus Nerve Journey, and I will continue to do so. Sincerely, Sterling Cooley
