Webinar Physical Positioning in front of camera
I want to ask the question: Is it better to position yourself walking around etc. like Russell does for a webinar or is it okay/effective to do it desk style, close up, the intimate feel?

@Gabriela Victory Thank you, here is my shadow, I just moved to Cartagena, Colombia and I'm in a started apartment, and when I say 'starter' I mean STARTER... I'm in a alleyway no AC my shower is a piece of PVC sticking out of the wall, I don't even have enough room to put the camera far enough away from me to see my entire body 🤣 I want to be able to put something out that looks professional, not perfect, but at least professional.

@Urvvi Patel Thank you I appreciate your feedback
First attempt!
I made a video! Really rough but it’s the first one! Have to liven it up once I am more familiar with the scripting but it’s a start!

@Alyssa Janney yes, the ones that allow you to physically put the camera directly behind it

@Alyssa Janney in my experience trying those I have found it does not look like eye contact, close but it more looks like I’m staring at my selfie.

I just thought I would post this in here RE the "I can't afford this" story... I have had zero income for the past 2 years, lived in my truckbed camper/ couch surfing, totally doggin' it. After exchange I just charged over $14k on my credit card, no thought process other than LFG!

@Jen Draper I 100% agree, which is why I've lived the way I have just creating and building and dreaming and making connections. I refuse to work backwards stepping over quarters to pick up pennies. I've survived in the jungle with nothing other than a backpack and a machete, I already know I can do anything.🙌 I've never lasted more than 3-4 months in a job before I want to fix everything, I start telling the managers and owners what to do, they tell me wow thats really good ideas, then I end up doing a bunch of free work, then I remember my worth and walk away. I don't work for free, pay me as a consultant or try and do it yourself. I used to own and run a very successful custom home building company until I got a brain injury and couldn't continue. My life looks different now, I am different now, still amazing, still awesome! I cannot work 100 hours a week though, that is not my reality anymore and thats okay, I'm learning to pivot and adapt. And what I thought was rock bottom is a gift that has evolved me.

I’ve always loved the Hero’s Journey and Joseph Campbell’s work because it reminds me that transformation follows a pattern, not a personality type. I see how every meaningful change includes confusion, resistance, and a moment where the old identity no longer works. Nothing has gone wrong. That’s the journey doing its job. I’m curious to see how this gets translated into selling today, because when messaging honors the stage someone is actually in, it stops pushing and starts guiding. Excited for this one.
