What Should We Call Our Next Big Thing?
Hypothetically, if I were to help you come up with a plan to help you build a remote online business around your passion and all on a single page, what should I call it? Feel free to vote for your favorite or suggest any other creative names you think would fit well! Thanks so much for your input, I really appreciate it.

@Toby Barnes today I woke up doubting it all and thinking maybe I should just do my 5 years try and improve my health as the side hustle and then retire. The Matrix at work.

@Toby Barnes I guess when I say retire I mean lean-FIRE - certainly wouldn’t be enough to live on here but would leave me not having to worry about covering my nut in Asia - would still require some investment discipline and sacrifice for another 5 years and the patience to deal with the usual workplace BS. That’s where the plan starts to fall apart for me. Lol!
Burning Season
Hey, all. Just wondering what the air quality is like in Chiang Mai at the moment? I'm thinking of heading that way soon but not until the burning season is over. Am I looking at end of April? Early May? Thanks 👍

@Adrian Ingram Thanks also for the advice - El Nino is hopefully coming to an end which may explain the later than expected rain. It has only just started warming up in the UK much later than previous few years so I think everywhere affected due to El Nino. Got some great weather in Hua Hin last September/October last year as a result though so mustn't complain too much. :)
Making money in the food industry
I was in thailand a couple months ago. And im looking for a normal food job over there outside of working online. Is that even possible?

Might be in a western owned business as a manager or head chef but just standard roles very unlikely as they can be done by local labour market. Totally met and had a good chat with the exec chef of Raddison Sukkumvit who was from the UK a few years back. Thats the level you need to aim for as a farang if you want to work in hospitality.

I think the term "nomad" is somewhat problematic given the connotations it now has as a result of certain individuals / practices in the digital nomad movement over the last decade. If nomad means freedom, self sufficiency and location choices not tied to one specific passport then yes I would consider myself a nomad (This is what I infer from this group and also from all your output Brett.). If it means being 3rd world rich and living as cheaply as possible while working a remote job for a company based in a developed country - then no. (Youtube is a Job too in my view.) Thats just geo-arbitrage and tele-communting it is not being a nomad. Remote jobs also may restrict choices to only countries with double taxation treaties (if you are lucky) and not to mention countries in a sensible time zone for you to be able to do the job and have a reasonable lifestyle. - so fewer options and not self sufficient as it relies on an employer. Youtube is an employer not a partner. There is a certain irony in the fact that some of the more infamous faces from the DN scene over the last decade suddenly pivoted to "remote sales jobs" in 2020 as the next new thing or calling moving back into their parent's and being locked down with the rest of us as some sort of new phase of being a digital nomad. Some people have drunk the coolaid and will live with this delusion for life.. its actually quite sad to see 40+ year old people schlepping around making below parr youtube content that offers little to no value for $20k per year in Adsense revenue during their most productive years of life and for people to aspire to that. Almost like it came full circle. The oppressive 9-5 grind they claimed to have escaped and were now free from was now just a slightly less oppressive 9pm till 5am grind cold calling leads in whatever english speaking country except its really hot outside and it's near a beach. With the customary course on " how to get a remote sales job" thrown in for good measure with no sense of irony!
