Sales Lessons from the Week
First week doing B2C with Hellofresh and here’s what I learned. The people who actually stopped to talk weren’t necessarily interested in HelloFresh they were talking about being tired, busy, or not knowing what to make for dinner. Had nothing to do with the product. The best conversations didn’t feel like selling at all just asking a couple questions and letting them talk. Once you hear the real problem the pitch basically writes itself Simple shift talk less & ask more curious what everyone else learned this week!

Great work, the customer will always tell you what they need. Active listening and KISS for the win !
WIN EVERYDAY !!
In sales, rejection isn’t a setback—it’s the job. In this industry, we say we get paid for the no’s we take, because every one of them moves us closer to the next yes. People always ask how we stay optimistic, and the truth is it’s not about ignoring rejection, it’s about stacking wins. I’ve learned to count every win — even the small wins. Whether it’s knocking out push-ups off the first thing in the morning , leaving my house with urgency and fully prepared, or even the return of your favorite TV show, it all counts. Those small moments of “good job” create momentum. And in a game where attitude is everything, that momentum is what carries you through the no’s and sets you up to hit your goals for the day.
Intro
What’s up guys ! My names James Koluboi and I’m based out of Philly on Lewis Team. Currently working on the T-Mobile B2B campaign, planning on expanding down to the DMV area this year. Mission: I am committed to building a life defined by resilience, elevation and purpose. Raised by hardworking immigrant parents who sacrificed to create opportunity, I carry their work ethic and values into everything I do. Through sports, I developed the mindset to compete, adapt, and push beyond limits—and now I apply that same drive to my career in sales. Although I didn’t initially seek this path, I recognize that this industry found me for a reason. I am all in. I embrace the challenge of growth, the responsibility of performance, and the opportunity to create real impact through my work. My mission is to elevate not only myself, but everyone connected to my journey—my family, my community, and those who have supported me along the way. I strive to build success that extends beyond personal gain, creating opportunities, opening doors, and giving back at a level that reflects the sacrifices made for me. I will outwork expectations, stay committed to continuous improvement, and operate with integrity—because success for me is not optional, it’s owed.

Best day in the field
What was your PB day? How many customers? How much money did you earn that day? What did you differently that was working for you?

My PB day was two customers for 11 lines, I made $1,100. What worked for me was taking control early on in the conversation, leveraging referrals and getting people excited to do business with me.
