Tuesday Tea Time Trivia: Holiday Harmony Blend
Meet the Blend This week's tea captures the magic of the holidays while keeping stress at bay! Our Holiday Harmony blend features cinnamon bark, tulsi, orange peel, licorice root, and rose petals. It tastes like the holidays smell—warm, spicy, and comforting—while supporting your nervous system through the busy season. Herb Spotlight - Cinnamon Bark (Cinnamomum spp.) Our herb of the month! Cinnamon is warming, circulation-stimulating, and naturally sweet. It helps regulate blood sugar, supports digestion after rich holiday meals, and brings that cozy holiday feeling we all crave. Plus, it's a gentle mood lifter! - Tulsi (Ocimum tenuiflorum, Holy Basil) This adaptogen is your secret weapon against holiday stress. Tulsi helps balance cortisol levels, supports adrenal health, and promotes calm alertness—perfect for navigating family gatherings and holiday to-do lists. - Orange Peel (Citrus × sinensis) Dried orange peel adds bright citrus notes and is rich in vitamin C. It's uplifting to the spirit, supports digestion, and brings that festive orange-spice combination we associate with the holidays. - Licorice Root (Glycyrrhiza glabra) This natural sweetener and adaptogen supports adrenal function and adds a pleasant sweetness that balances the spices. It's like nature's candy cane in your tea! - Rose Petals (Rosa centifolia) Rose petals bring heart-opening energy and emotional balance to this blend. They're cooling and help temper the warming spices while adding a touch of floral elegance. Benefits of the Blend This blend is designed to keep you grounded and joyful during the holiday season. The warming spices (cinnamon and orange peel) support circulation and digestion, while the adaptogens (tulsi and licorice) help manage holiday stress. Rose petals add emotional support for those moments when family dynamics get intense! How to Prepare: - 1 teaspoon dried cinnamon bark (or ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon) - 1 teaspoon dried tulsi - ½ teaspoon dried orange peel - ½ teaspoon dried licorice root - ½ teaspoon dried rose petals - Pour 1 cup hot water over the herbs - Steep covered for 10-15 minutes - Strain and sweeten with honey if desired. Perfect as a morning energizer or evening wind-down. Drink 1-3 cups daily throughout the holiday season.

🌟 Gratitude Alphabet Game! 🌟
Hey beautiful souls! Let's play a little game to sprinkle some gratitude into our day. We're going to create a Gratitude Alphabet together! I'll start us off with the letter A. I'm grateful for Apples because they remind me of cozy autumn days and warm apple pie. 🍏🥧 Now it's your turn! The next person shares something they're grateful for that starts with the letter B. Let's see how far we can get through the alphabet! Remember, there's no right or wrong answer—just share what comes to mind and brings you joy. Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with! 💚 Who's ready to play? Let's spread some gratitude magic! ✨

Help me decide
So I have several ideas for courses and also have two that I am creating right now. I had some feedback from my Aligning with Autumn course which was to have the course completed before launching. I need your help in deciding which one I need to complete first.

@Liz Fulcher I eat them in hot sauce :-) Hot sauce covers all. I love how you use essential oils as medicine physically and mentally. I further love how you helped me understand that the same herb/plant does similar effects on the body no matter how used, just a different route of entry to the body by absorption or inhalation and then tea through consumption.
Self-Care Sunday: What's Your Non-Negotiable Practice
Happy Sunday, beautiful souls! Welcome to Self-Care Sunday: What's Your Non-Negotiable Practice? I've been thinking about those self-care rituals that we absolutely refuse to skip—the ones that feel so essential to our well-being that we protect them fiercely, no matter how busy life gets. For me, my Sunday non-negotiable is starting my day in complete silence. Before the world wakes up, before the phone starts buzzing, before the day's responsibilities call my name, I claim that sacred quiet time just for myself. I begin with meditation, letting my mind settle and my breath guide me into stillness. Then I spend time talking with God, sharing my gratitude, my worries, my hopes for the week ahead. There's something so comforting about starting the day connected to something greater than myself. I also take time to chat with my past loved ones—those precious souls who are no longer physically here but remain so present in my heart. I tell them about my week, ask for their guidance, and feel their love surrounding me. It might sound unusual to some, but these conversations fill me with such peace and connection. The silence itself is medicine. In our noisy, constantly connected world, those moments of pure quiet feel like drinking from a well of peace. No agenda, no productivity goals—just me, the morning light, and the beautiful stillness that holds it all. This practice sets the tone for my entire day. When I honor this time, I feel more centered, more grateful, and more able to show up fully for whatever the day brings. What About You? What's your non-negotiable self-care practice? Maybe it's: - Your morning coffee ritual that you savor slowly - An evening walk that clears your mind - Journaling before bed to process your day - A weekly phone call with your best friend - Sunday meal prep that nourishes your week - Reading a few pages of a good book each night The beauty of non-negotiable practices is that they're deeply personal. What fills one person's cup might not work for another, and that's perfectly okay.
