Hello All! I feel like a grandad reading everyone else’s comments, I’m 23 and live in the middle of England. I’ve been interested in marketing for over a year now. I never actually thought about turning the hobby into a job until I recently. Looking forward to hearing different ideas and strategies from you all and sharing my own.

Hi @Alicia Joseph, I’m new to copywriting and wondered what would be better starting out? Should I pick one niche and try to find several companies all within that niche or find completely contrasting companies? My thoughts are that picking one niche would help me build a portfolio and build evidence while picking several will help build my skills. What are your thoughts?

@Kamrul Hasan I’m reading influence by Robert B Cialdini at the moment. It’s more targeted at how to avoid being influenced than a book for copywriters but the knowledge transfers to copywriting easily.
