Here I Am, Asking for Opinions Again!
As I am growing the Exchange, I am finding issues that I do not know how to or if I should, address. The one plaguing my mind right now is this ... I have no desire to be a Skool builder. What I mean here is you are not going to find courses on how to set up your Skool etc. inside the walls of my community. I am however open to things that help people grow, as I am inviting in health communities to share their voice and to grow. I will do networking, which I consider growth not building. I have a member who has paid for VIP visibility. I have joined her Skool in support. Old posts, nothing new most days. 40 some odd members, only one talking besides herself. Set up issues galore. What do I do? Do I leave her to solve her own issues? Do I send her here lol, suggest help rather than give her help? Do I help her with suggestions? Biggest issue now that I have thought this through, is how to approach this with her? Thanks

I think you can support her without taking on the responsibility of fixing everything yourself, Lynne. You could gently point out what you've noticed, ask if she's open to feedback, and let her decide whether she wants help. Sometimes community owners don't realize how much their setup and member experience affect engagement. If she needs more hands-on support, referring her to someone who specializes in Skool setup and growth could be a good option while allowing you to stay focused on your vision for The Exchange.
This weekend reminded me what REAL community looks like. 💚
And I’m feeling incredibly grateful. This weekend, one of our own, Lynne Vella, launched her new community. And I got to watch something pretty special happen. You all SHOWED UP. You cheered. Some joined. Some invited others who might be a good fit. You encouraged. Made connections. Offered help. Celebrated a fellow community builder taking a big step. And nobody had to ask you to do it. You simply saw someone in our community building something she believed in and said, in your own ways: “We’ve got you. Keep going.” THAT is the part I can’t stop thinking about. Because that’s community. Not member counts. Not likes. Not how busy the feed looks. People showing up for people. You show up. You show out. You encourage. You celebrate. You help each other win. And this weekend gave me a chance to step back and really SEE it. We came together to learn about building great communities. But somewhere along the way... we’re becoming one. ❤️ And honestly, that makes me incredibly grateful. So this post is really just a thank you. 💙 Thank you for making Skoolology more than a place to learn. 💙 Thank you for sharing what you know. 💙 Thank you for encouraging someone who needs it. 💙 Thank you for celebrating each other’s wins. 💙 Thank you for being willing to help someone else succeed while you’re still building your own thing too. You don’t wait until someone reaches the finish line to start cheering. You cheer while they’re still building. 💚 And THAT is the kind of community I hoped we could create together.

This is such a great example of what community should look like, Donna. 💚 Watching everyone show up, encourage Lynne, and celebrate her launch was really inspiring. It shows how powerful genuine support can be when people are willing to help each other grow. 🙌

🎉 Let’s Show Lynne Some Skoolology Love!
One of our own is building something new! @Lynne Vella is launching a brand-new community, and I thought this was the perfect opportunity for us to do what good community builders do... Cheer each other on.📣 There’s absolutely NO expectation that anyone joins unless Lynne’s community genuinely interests you and feels like a good fit. This is simply about supporting someone who is taking that exciting, slightly scary step of putting something new out into the world. Support can be pretty simple: 👏 Celebrate the launch 💬 Leave an encouraging comment 👀 Check out what she’s building 📣 Cheer her on from the sidelines Because building a community can feel a little lonely sometimes. It’s nice to know you’ve got people in your corner. @Lynne Vella the floor is yours! Drop the details about your new community in the comments. Tell us what you’re building, who it’s for, and what you’re most excited about. And since we’re all here to learn from each other, tell us this too: What’s ONE thing you’ve learned while getting your community ready to launch? Then, once you’ve had a little time on the other side of launch, I’d love for you to come back and tell us how it went and what you learned along the way. Skoolologists, let’s give Lynne a proper cheering section. ❤️ Because this is part of community building, too. We can build our own thing AND root for someone else building theirs.

This is such a creative idea, Lynne! 💚 I really like the focus on helping people find the right community instead of simply trying to get more members. That kind of matching can create a much better experience for both the member and the community owner. Wishing you lots of success with the launch!
Let’s Welcome Emma!🎉
Welcome, @Emma Neziri ! 😊 We're so glad you're here. Congratulations on taking the first step and launching Building Health. Every thriving community starts with that very first member. You mentioned you're here to learn and you're not quite sure what success looks like over the next 30 days yet. That's completely okay. Many of us started exactly there. Take a look around, jump into a few conversations, and don't hesitate to ask questions. We're all learning together, and we'd love to help you build a community people don't want to leave. Welcome to Skoolology! 🌱

Let’s Welcome Arnold! 🎉
Welcome, @Arnold Wong ! Great to have you here! We like that you're thinking intentionally before launching your community. That's exactly what this space is for. Your goal of creating more engaging posts and attracting the right audience is something many of us are working on, too. We hope you'll jump into the conversations and ask lots of questions. Looking forward to learning alongside you!
Let’s Welcome Arnold! 🎉
