Back story, vision board, welcome the Physio! And your Input.
This platform speaks to my 18-year-old selfβ¦ when I used to train Muay Thai to compete I only focused on a few things: run 10-15kms a day, hit the heavy bags/Thai pads and spar as hard as possible. With no real structured drills or idea of other athletic fields: β’ I would be depleted (poorly fueled (thinking Subway cookies were healthy π€¦π½ββοΈπͺ), β’ NaΓ―ve of my skill set (I never switch kicked π), β’ I was fit but not specifically for competition (I spent more time running πββοΈthan actual striking π) and without knowing itβ¦ β’ Developing osteoarthritis due to muscle imbalances (that I'm dealing with today... Iβm 34 now wtf π΄). And while it did work somewhat successfully at an amateur levelβ¦ in hindsight, I know I could have been a better athlete and most importantly enjoyed learning more about Muay Thai as a martial art as I am now. So, what I want Vamos Muay Thai Skool to become is a one-stop platform to cater to those main problem areas. That is, when learning Muay Thai, you have: β’ Skill: Technical aspect β’ Mobility: Improving flexibility and injury prevention β’ Strength and Conditioning: Building power and endurance β’ Nutrition: Fueling your body correctly As founding members, YOU GUYS, will help us to create a library of videos that will help others too. The good news is that we have two of the four areas already covered, I'm the Skill guy and drum roll pleaseβ¦ HARRY IS THE MOBILITY GUY! Please welcome him π Let us know what drills youβd like to learn: β’ Defense, footwork, sparring, clinching, sweeping etc. And what areas in your flexibility (or lack thereof) needs work: β’ Hips, shoulders, back, wrist, ankle? Added bonus, this platform will be FREE for you but eventually a paid one for future members. Help me build this community for future βteenage Natesβ so that they can start their journey the right way π
