Do You Memorize or Use a Teleprompter?
Do you try to memorize your video content to sound more authentic, or do you read from a teleprompter? I'm curious to hear about everyone’s experience, what’s worked for you that has also been sustainable? I feel like Alexa sounds so natural so I can't tell :).

If you have too much written down it just looks like you are reading - your eyes will scroll from left to right etc
Not my video but......
This was a video that I recorded with someone who has half a million subscribers. At the very least it ought to give me some publicity - but it may get a couple of new subscribers. Anyway please feel free to see what I do.
Finally got my third one up!
This has taken far too long - 4 weeks - to get my next one up. I must improve upon that. I feel I am now ready to start telling people about the new channel to hopefully get a few subscribers etc. I have also added this video to my website as an embedded video. I feel I am so far behind so many of you, but I am taking what you post and say about your own journey to inspire mine. I never did find out why Capcut doesn't like keyframes over clip breaks. The one other puzzling item in this video, is that the colour alters at about 22 seconds - but the odd thing is that nothing has changed. Again it is a split in the video, but I can't see any colour changes. Very odd! On my next video, I think I will resist the urge to cut out repetitive words or if I do, I will manually edit, rather than leaving CapCut to do it, as I think that is where a lot of my issues came from. As none (or very few of you) will understand UK planning, I am hoping this video might explain some basics on how we categorise buildings in the UK. That is the idea anyway 😂 😂 As always feedback welcome - I tried a different thumbnail for this as well.
Which email to use for affiliate links/ pages registration
I am in the process of set up first affiliated link. Is it ok to use other (than channel or paypal) email for registration? I am asking this question because I do not want to compromise personal info. added my email to the channel today and already someone was trying to hack- received a request in google authenticator to confirm sing-in and location was on another continent :).

Shouldn't make any difference as to the email you use - just ensure that you have a decent password on the account.
Getting stressed - split screen and more....
Trying to get this latest video out of the door, but having cut blank bits out, I have the video split into multiple sections. Part of the issue is that capcut has simply hidden the removed bits beneath other sections. It doesn't seem to remove them when editing via the transcript. Which means it is too easy to move clips slightly. This is causing big issues. For example for some odd reason, the colour went in one section, despite never altering it. I need to create a split screen across two sections. I have my first marker on the first section and the second on the second to move the split screen in. That shouldn't be an issue - but at the start of the second section the split jumps as it isn't one continuous smooth transition from one marker to the other. Need to find a way around this. Otherwise I will need to start again. Sorry for getting stressed, but feel like throwing in the towel right now. :( This third video is a mountain, that I am struggling to get over......

@Brandon Henderson Good luck :) In the whole it works fine, but I have never experienced this before.

@Ellen Allard I guess one issue is what to call the various elements - are they individual clips, or called something else for example? When looking at the video. Apologies, but what should be a simple task is proving to be far harder. No offence, but as I said to my wife last night - if people like you and Carolyn can do it - so should I be able to!
