AI Mastermind Feb 2-7 | Apply NOW
I wanted to share something pretty special with you guys. From February 2nd to February 7th, there’s an AI Mastermind happening in Cape Town that’s being sponsored by n8n, and I’ll be there along with some of the biggest names in the AI space like Liam Ottley, Dave Ebbelar, Jack Roberts, Mark Kashef, and many more. This is not a typical conference. It’s a small, curated mastermind focused on real conversations, deep dives into AI, live talks and presentations, plus a lot of networking and social events with people who are actually building in this space. There are only about 50 VIP spots left, and it’s designed to be a high-impact, life-changing type of week. If you’re serious about AI, business, and meeting the right people, I definitely recommend checking it out and applying here: https://www.africai.vip/

Weekend Automation Idea
“Weekend Thought: Automate What Drains You — Not What Defines You” It’s easy to get lost in the automation grind — trying to make every single thing run on autopilot. But here’s the truth: Not everything that takes time is a problem. Some things should take time. Writing. Thinking. Talking to people. Those are the things that build clarity, not chaos. Automation isn’t about removing effort — it’s about removing wasted effort. So this weekend, don’t add — remove. Trim your stack. Keep only what makes life easier, not busier. Here’s the real flex: Spending your weekend relaxing while your workflow handles follow-ups, reminders, and data cleanup — automatically. So this weekend, ask yourself: What’s actually draining me that I could automate? And what’s better done by me, because that’s where my value lives? Idea of automation:- “AI Finance Tracker” :- Goal: Automate your money sanity check. What it does:Pulls weekly transactions from your bank (or sheet). Categorizes them automatically. Generates an AI summary like “You spent 20% more on food this week 🍕.” Tools: Tiller + ChatGPT + Google Sheets. Why: You actually know where your money went — without spreadsheets.

From Zero to AI Entrepreneurs: The 14 Weeks That Changed Everything
WHAT A JOURNEY !!! Fourteen weeks ago, a group of ambitious students in Uganda started a journey into AI automation together with us . Most had never built a workflow. Many had never heard of n8n. Today, they are starting to build businesses and solve real world problems in there area The Journey Weeks 1-4: Foundations Learning the basics triggers, nodes, data flow. First simple automations. Weather notifications. Student registration systems. The excitement of seeing code actually work. Weeks 4-8: Adding Intelligence Integrating AI. Building smart lead management systems. Creating support ticket routers that actually think. The moments of breakthrough multiplied. Weeks 8-12: Business Thinking The shift from "How do I build this?" to "Who would pay for this?" Students developed real business concepts: healthcare patient management systems, agricultural market connectors, hospitality automation solutions, and financial services integrations. Weeks 12-14: Level 3 Results This week, we reviewed advanced AI automation projects. The results speak for themselves. Students scoring full marks on complex technical implementations. Business concepts with genuine market potential. Professional video pitches that could impress investors. Production-ready workflows with proper error handling and monitoring. What Makes This Different I did not just teach technology. We taught transformation. Every student answered the question: What business would you like to start with AI? And they answered with solutions for their communities addressing healthcare challenges, agricultural inefficiencies, hospitality gaps, and financial inclusion problems. ( REAL WORLD PROBLEMS !!) What Comes Next Assignment 4 is now live. The brief is simple but powerful: Build your MVP. Create your website, application. Find your first 10 customers. No more practice. No more tests. This is real. By the end of January 2026, these students will not just have certificates. They will have businesses.

Follow-Up Agent (n8n) — Structure
Follow-Up Agent (n8n) — STRUCTURE SUMMARY 🎯 What this agent does Tracks who you contacted Knows who replied vs who didn’t Sends smart follow-ups Stops automatically when there’s a reply So you never chase manually and never sound spammy. 🧠 Agent Logic (High Level) “If someone hasn’t replied in X days, send a context-aware follow-up. If they replied, stop everything.” That’s it. Everything else is implementation. 👏🏻n8n STRUCTURE (Simple & Real) 1.Trigger Cron Node Runs every day (or every 12 hours) Purpose: → “Check who needs a follow-up today” 2.Source of Truth Google Sheets / Airtable / Notion Node Sheet contains: Name Email / DM handle Last message sent date Reply status (Yes / No) Follow-up count Purpose: → Agent always knows the current state 3.Filter Logic IF Node Conditions: Reply = ❌ No Days since last message ≥ 2 (or your rule) Follow-ups sent < 3 Purpose: → Prevents annoying people → Prevents infinite follow-ups 4.Context Builder Set Node Creates context like: Who this person is What you already sent What follow-up number this is Purpose: → This is why your message doesn’t sound robotic 5.LLM Node (Message Writer) Prompt logic: Write ONE short follow-up Reference previous message No pressure Natural tone No CTA overload Purpose: → Message feels human, not “Day 3 Follow-Up Template #7” 6.Send Message Gmail / LinkedIn / WhatsApp Node Sends the follow-up. Important rule: → ONE message per run per person (no machine-gun behavior) 7.Update Memory Google Sheets / DB Node Updates: Last message date = today Follow-up count +1 Purpose: → Agent remembers what it did 8.Reply Stopper (Optional but Powerful) Email Trigger / Webhook If reply detected: Set Reply = ✅ Yes Kill all future follow-ups Purpose: → This is what separates amateurs from pros. 🎉 Questions:- 1. Suggestions to add-on? 2. Is it felling like automated now? 3. How much ROI you're expecting from this?

n8n Ticket Processor That Eliminated 180 Hours Annual Manual Registration 🔥
Event ticket processing. 360 registrations annually. Manual data entry consuming 180 hours. Built n8n workflow. Zero manual entry. Automatic QR delivery. THE EVENT PROCESSING PROBLEM: Every confirmation email manual. Event coordinator downloading PDF. Typing attendee details into database. Entering event information - name, date, time, venue location. Typing ticket details - type, number, seat assignment, price, quantity. Opening QR code generator website manually. Creating QR code. Downloading image. Composing confirmation email. Attaching QR code. Sending. Checking special requirements manually. Noting dietary restrictions for catering. Flagging accessibility needs for venue. 30 minutes per registration. 360 annually = 180 hours. Audit errors - 45 missed QR deliveries. 67 special requirements not flagged. 89 QR codes with wrong ticket numbers. 18.3% error rate. THE n8n AUTOMATION: 9-node workflow with 2-path email routing: Node 1 - Gmail Trigger: Monitors ticket confirmations Node 2 - Get Email: Downloads with PDF attachment Node 3 - Prepare Binary: Formats document Node 4 - Extract Data: Pulls attendee/event/ticket/special requirements Node 5 - Process Ticket: Calculates timeline, generates check-in code Node 6 - Log Database: Updates registration tracking Node 7 - Generate QR: Creates QR code image from ticket data Node 8 - Prepare QR: Formats for email delivery Node 9 - Email Router: QR code email OR no-email alert EXTRACTION: Attendee - name, email, phone Event - name, date, time, venue location Ticket - type, number, seat/section/row, price, quantity Special - dietary restrictions, accessibility needs, VIP access PROCESSING LOGIC: ```javascript // Timeline calculation const daysUntil = (eventDate - today) / (1000 * 60 * 60 * 24); const isToday = daysUntil === 0; const isSoon = daysUntil > 0 && daysUntil <= 7; // Priority determination let priority = 'Normal'; if (isToday) priority = 'High'; if (isSoon) priority = 'Medium'; // QR code generation
