How do you keep your Lesson Plans organized? Do you use a Planner like @Helen Hughes from @swimeducation_MWA put together (for purchase btw)🤑 What works for you?
These are not lesson plans as one may see them traditionally but more like lesson idea sheets - you can write what your ideas are for the lessons. It helps with brain storming what you are doing with the children. No set times, no strict order. I would have loved this planner when I was a traveling swimming school as it has daily time schedule so you can plan your route - no more sheets thrown on the car seat next to me. I was finding that I had multiple single sheets everywhere with my lesson lists and trying to remember what each child was doing and what they had achieved was getting difficult so this means I can keep it all together in one place. I have now looked back over 2 years to reflect on how the lessons went. I could not work my busy biz without the Swim School planner. It has EVERYTHING in there. From social media content scheduling to budgeting and finance to keeping tabs on what pools are teaching what with the team. It is a life changer. Last year it was JAMMED packed of notes, ideas, concepts. It has monthly meeting prompts for your swim team and also monthly reflections. I couldn't find a planner that was suitable for swimming teachers so hence these 2. They are undated so you can start at any time. Just write in your dates and voila you're set.
