🌳 The Problem Feels Too Big 🌳
I used to look at the state of our environment and feel absolute despair. Rainforests being cut down. Waterways polluted. Disposable products created with little thought for where they end up. What difference could one person possibly make? Then we moved to the land we now call Khemeia Valley. I spent time in the tired forest, beside the river and on land that was never really suited to grazing. And the message felt incredibly simple: Plant trees. Regenerate the land. Be its kaitiaki — its guardians. We can't fix everything. But that doesn't mean we can do nothing. We can take one small, meaningful action and allow it to ripple outward. That's what we're doing here. When you sponsor a tree through My Tree Legacy, we don't simply take your contribution, plant a tree and say thank you. 🌱 Your tree is planted as part of our regeneration 📍 We geo-tag its exact location 🎥 You receive photos and video 🌳 We tell you about your tree and why it belongs where we've planted it 💚 You can follow its growth — and if you ever find yourself in Northland, New Zealand, you can even come and visit it. Because somewhere along this journey we realised something: As we regenerate this land, we are regenerating our lives too. 🌱 The problem may feel too big. But your action doesn't have to be. Start with one tree. Let it ripple. Create a Legacy.

🌿 What If Regeneration Started With Your Morning?
🌳 Regeneration isn't only about planting trees or restoring land. Sometimes, it starts with slowing down and doing the small things with intention. My mornings begin quietly — minimal lights, gentle movement and coffee. While my coffee sits in the plunger, I wrap my hands around it and fill it with love before pouring it into my cup. ☕💚 Before I start my work day, I set my intentions, visualise what I'm creating and decide how I want to feel as I move through the day. It's a tiny ritual, but it changes how I show up. Inside My Tree Legacy, we're exploring regeneration in all its forms — regenerating land, reconnecting with nature, and creating more intentional lives. 🌱 If those are conversations you'd like to be part of, we'd love to have you join us. 🌿 Do you have a morning ritual to help you start your day with intention?

🌿 10-Week Nature Connection Journey - STARTS TODAY!
Today we are beginning a FREE and gentle 10-week journey back to nature, and we'd love for you to join us. 🏙️ Don't worry if you live in the middle of a city or don't have access to forests or nature trails. This journey is about your relationship with nature, not your location. 🏙️ We have Cityscape options for those that can't get out to a nature trail or find a local tree. 🌿 Each week I will share a simple guided activity inspired by forest bathing, along with journal prompts, an intention for the week, and a space to reflect together in our community. No experience needed - just a willingness to slow down, observe, and see what begins to change when you spend a little intentional time with nature each week. 🌱 As a little thank you for walking the journey with us, everyone who joins in by sharing their reflections in each of the ten week's community prompts, they will go into the draw to win one of three native trees. We'll plant your tree here at Khemeia Valley on your behalf, geo tag it, send you information, photos, and a video about your tree as we help you begin your own living legacy and become part of the regeneration of this special place. If you've been longing to reconnect—with yourself, with nature, or simply with a slower way of being—we'd love to have you with us. When the journey begins, are you going to join us? 🌿 My Tree Legacy

Big shout out to The Food Forest Nest with @JanineOgg. Such a fab community helping people to learn to grow their own food, reduce their supermarket bills, grow healthy chemical free nutrient dense food, and to help ensure food security. I love that it’s all low cost, easy to learn, and it doesn’t matter whether you live in an apartment, suburbia or a farm, you can start this journey now. If you want to learn how to grow a healthy future, this is an awesome place to start.

🌿 Want to Join Us On A Nature Connection Journey?
This is my invitation to you, to slow right down and become aware of both your inner and outer world. On Monday 17th August we are kicking off Week One of our FREE Nature Connection Journey over in My Tree Legacy and we would love for you to join us. (This may show up on Sunday for a lot of you as we are located in Aotearoa, New Zealand - some may say we are ahead of the times here 😉). 🏙️ Don't worry if you live in the city or where you can't get access to a nature trail - we have cityscape options to help you begin. I will be there every step of the way and will be doing it to from my backyard too. ------------------------------------------------------------------- 🌿 Prize Draw To celebrate everyone who completes our 10-Week Nature Regeneration Journey, we'll be giving away three native trees to three members of our community. Each winner will receive: 🌱 One native tree planted on your behalf at Khemeia Valley. 📍 Your tree will be geo-tagged, so you'll always know where it is growing. 📸 You'll receive a photo and video of your tree, along with information about the species and the role it plays in helping regenerate the land. Your tree will become part of our growing forest and a living legacy that will continue to grow for many years to come. ------------------------------------------------------------------- 🌿 We would love to see you over at My Tree Legacy, a place where we are regenerating land and life through small meaningful steps.
