Shortly after the pandemic, I stepped into a 30-year-old language services company doing $900k–$1.1M a year. On day one, I realized they weren’t actually running a business—just juggling chaos. ❌ No CRM ❌ No systems ❌ 1990s phone setup (cords, shoulder-cradling, no voicemail…) ❌ Everything managed through Outlook ❌ Constant yelling across the office just to answer calls So I rebuilt the foundation. I implemented a CRM, modernized operations, upgraded their marketing, installed VOIP phones that synced with the CRM, and streamlined communication internally and externally. Within six months, productivity improved, sales aligned, and operations finally made sense. Then, in late 2022—after the unexpected passing of the owner—I stepped in to run the entire company. In January 2023, I rallied the team around a bold goal: increase revenue by $1M in 12 months and boost profitability. Alignment → momentum → execution. By year-end, we grew nearly $900k, achieved the highest profit margin in company history, and in early 2024, the business was successfully acquired—providing long-term financial security for the owner’s widow.
