I used to look at the state of our environment and feel absolute despair. Rainforests being cut down. Waterways polluted. Disposable products created with little thought for where they end up. What difference could one person possibly make? Then we moved to the land we now call Khemeia Valley. I spent time in the tired forest, beside the river and on land that was never really suited to grazing. And the message felt incredibly simple: Plant trees. Regenerate the land. Be its kaitiaki — its guardians. We can't fix everything. But that doesn't mean we can do nothing. We can take one small, meaningful action and allow it to ripple outward. That's what we're doing here. While my coffee sits in the plunger, I wrap my hands around it and fill it with love before pouring it into my cup. ☕💚 Before I start my work day, I set my intentions, visualise what I'm creating and decide how I want to feel as I move through the day. It's a tiny ritual, but it changes how I show up.
