@Sharad Verma, Thank you for the ideas and knowledge! We are currently not using Databricks due to the cost (since what I'm working on has to be done on a shoe string budget.) We're using a C# library in a function app (the cost of which is less visible since I have access to a Premium function app plan.) Maybe after proving out the concept I can get budget for databricks. In the meantime, I will take your advice about un-nesting the complexities since trying to do it in Power BI programmatically (as opposed to hard coding the columns) is turning out to be much more difficult than I hoped.

I'm excited about Fabric and the potential to bring all of our data estates under a single, accessible structure, but there are so many things that I don't know. Also, given that the data from the devices I work with has the potential to contain Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Protected Health Information (PHI), the security and privacy requirements are higher than most other fields.
