We Need to Talk šŸ’›
I’m currently watching Angela throw live on my phone — and it’s just the most beautiful thing. Gigi is there, Sarah, Pat, Denise, Mary, Ronda… and Lori from Wandering Soul too. We’re all in the chat together, reacting, cheering her on. And it hit me. We’re all there… but we can’t actually talk to each other. So let’s change that. šŸ’ŖšŸ» What if we start a weekly community call?🪿 We could pick a time that works best for most of us, and then meet once a week right here on Skool. Just one hour. Nothing complicated. Everyone who wants to can share their ā€œPiece of the Weekā€ — something you’re working on, something you finished, a struggle, a question, an idea. You’ll have the space to show your work, ask for feedback, and just connect.✨ No pressure. Just pottery people hanging out, supporting each other. What do you think? Would you join? šŸ’›

This is the day and time that I moderate the livestreams for Earth Nation Ceramics. I will only be able to join if the livestream doesn't take place. I wish you all a wonderful time!
Keeping Older Pots
Do you have any pots that you just never wanted to part with? These are two of mine. The lighter one is Iron Lustre over Spectrum Milk & Honey, and the darker one is Amaco Dark Green over River Rock. I didn't want to part with these.... but eventually, I did.

@Barbara Bustard wow! I would definitely keep that.
Who wants to do something silly?
I want to take a pot and glaze it with three consecutively numbered glazes... ie; Amaco PC-27, 28, and 29. That's just an example. Any glaze line will do. Who's in?

@Kendall Carpenter of course I'll want to try different glazes next time!

@Andrea MacLeod she's a beauty!
Delicious Drips
This is my first time using this combination - Power Turquoise over River Birch on marbled Brown and White Bear clays. I'm loving the drip and happy it stayed in the mug!

@Mary Lee Edwards No, I've got an old kilnsitter 818. It holds about 17 mugs and a shelf of small stuff.

@Pat Webb It's definitely one I use a lot.
Disaster of a Challenge
I made a mistake and my kiln got too hot. This was my beloved lamp for January's challenge... full of pinholes and blisters.
